Dirtball's Guide to the Untouchable Badge for Villains
I. First, let's talk about obtaining the mission and the specifics of the mission itself...
The mission is listed in the "Wiseguy" (30-34) range in the Flashback system, even though it is from a Level 25-30 contact. It is the very last "Arc" in the list, titled "Eliminate Negotiator and Witnesses". I always ran this with just the default settings. Because this is a single Badge Mission and not a true Arc so the settings will not allow you to get any of the Flashback badges.
Once you accept the mission, head to Sharkhead, the mission is always in Sharkhead.
Sidebar: 96 of the 97 times I ran it (Somewhere along the way I defeated 3 Bosses that counted for this badge) it was in the exact same location - a small tugboat in the North East area of Sharkhead Island. The one odd time the mission was still located on a small tugboat, but it was on the opposite side of the Black market, a few hundred yards away. I'm not sure why it was in a different location that one time.
You will be exemplared to level 30, so you will be in no danger of aggro from any of the surrounding mobs. If you zone to Sharkhead via Ouroboros, you will be 475 yards from the mission entrance. If you zone out of a SG base, you will be 0.73 miles away. The mission door is 786 yards from the Base Portal and 237 yards from the Black Market.
The mission is always the Cargo Ship interior mission. You spawn in the mission on a small tugboat that is next to the cargo ship. Ignore everything on the cargo ship and head directly to the door to the cargo ship interior, which will be at the far end of the cargo ship, to the North. Once inside the cargo ship, you can again ignore everything and just head right to the last room at the far Southern end of the ship. The Mission Objective group, the "Wolf Spider Huntsman" and "Underboss" are always located in the last room at the far end of the ship. I used Fly and no stealth and very rarely aggro'd anything unless I was trying to, even though I stayed close to the floor.
You don't really even need to target through the mobs or inspect them because as soon as you get near the Mission Objective group, they will spout off a dialogue. They are the only mobs in the final room that have a dialog so you can just move through the room until you see the dialog, then you'll have your objective. Many times the objective spawns right near the door coming into the last room, this makes it nice because you will see the dialogue pop up as you are coming down the narrow hallway between the last two compartments of the ship. Other times they can spawn in any of the spawn locations between the large cargo containers along the center of the compartment. You do need to be careful though, as it is easy to aggro nearby groups, especially in the center areas. It's not a big problem, you can either defeat the objective then exit the mission, or clear any of the extra aggro'd groups.

II. Tips for time savings...
My first suggestion here is to make sure you have the Ouroboros Portal Temporary power, it is pretty much a must for this badge. Even though you could rely solely on a Pillar of Ice and Flame in a SG base, get the portal, you'll thank yourself later, trust me. If you don't have the portal, you can get it by obtaining the Entrusted with the Secret badge. You will get this when you complete your first time through the Agent of Discord Badge mission. Just access a Pillar of Ice and Flame in a SG base the first time. The Portal has a 5 minute recharge so you can only use it once every 5 minutes.
While using the Orouboros Portal I could complete the mission in just over two and a half minutes. My travel power is Fly with 2 pieces of Soaring in it, so I am defintiely not capped out for flight speed. Now you're probably asking yourself, "But Dirtball, you said that you're completing the mission in about 2.5 minutes, and the Orouboros portal has a 5 minute recharge, what do you do with that other 2.5 minutes? The Black Market is 237 yards from the mission door, so you can always hit the market to sell, bid, flip, or whatever. If you don't have any marketeering to do, which I frequently didn't, I would use my SG Base Teleporter Vet power. Once inside the base, I would sell Generic IO recipes to the Tree of Wonder, play salvage dump into the SG bins, and also offload inspirations that I may have gotten into SG storage as well. Then, hit the Pillar of Ice and Flame and get the mission again. Zone back to Sharkhead using the Portal, not a teleporter, and you will be right where you were when you used the vet power to get into the base - which should be right outside the mission door. By the time you complete the mission the second time, your Orouboros Portal should be recharged, or very close to it. You can then hit Orouboros, pick the mission again, come back to Sharkhead, being 275 yards away, and run the mission for the third time in less than 15 minutes.
Sidebar #2: As of the writing of this guide (Pre I16) there has been a bug reintroduced to the game. Upon zoning, usually all toggles will be turned off, and powers will be recharged. This means that the Orouboros Portal may be usable as soon as you finish the mission instead of having to wait for the full 5 minute recharge. This will speed up your process even more. However, I don't expect this bug to remain indefinitely as it was in game and fixed previously.
Here is a quick rundown of how I ran for time efficiency:
- Set to Villainous difficulty to spawn small group and Lts instead of Boss level mission objective
- Pick up the mission and run it
- If my Orouboros Portal is recharged, I zone directly from inside the mission to the Oroubouros Zone.
- If portal still recharging, will zone directly to SG Base using vet power.
- If both are still recharging, I will "Quit SF" which will immediately zone you out of the mission
- Once back in Orouboros or the SG Base, "Quit SF" to avoid having to travel to the contact
- Fly to SG Portal
- Pick mission again and zone back to Sharkhead to run mission again.

III. Loot!
OK, I looked at at this way: Yes, I am running this for the badge, but since I'll be spending a lot time and effort, I might as well maximize my loot while I am at it! Here are some tips on maximizing your loot while diong this.
I'm assuming you're obtaining this on a badger character, so I'll also list out all of the additional badges you can either obtain, or make progress on while getting Untouchable.
- First, and easiest, is the Chrononaut exploration badge, it's found in Ouroboros, at the highest point on top of the building.
- If you're trying to get all of the Flashback badges for the various level ranges with the least amount of arcs needed, you may need an extra couple arcs to get the Mender badge, for completing 50 Flashback arcs.
- You can get the Chronologist Day job badge for logging out in Ouroboros for a cumulative total of 21 days.
- Damage Badge Progress. Yes, I know it won't be much, but what the heck, the damage badges are epic and every bit helps, right? Not every run, but sometimes, I would intentionally fly right into groups and aggro them before flying on. Usually you will get hit with Slug or Buckshot or a punch, but sometimes you'll get "lucky" and get hit with a Full Auto which will do a hundred or so points of damage.
- Infamy Earned Badge Progress. Again, more Epic level badges, but a little help from here. While running the mission, I was running out of SG mode to help make a little progress towards the Infamy badges. Set to Villainous at level 50, I was getting 34,625 infamy for mission complete, plus another 34,625 as the Flashback bonus. This is in addition to any defeats you make inside the mission. Of course, if you run like I did, by simply flying to the last room of the cargo ship and taking out the two negotiators, you will only have two Lt rank defeats, netting 3,943 infamy for each of them. 77,136 infamy per run x 100 runs = 7,713,600. Yes, nothing to brag about, but, I was all about milking this for all I could.
Besides multiple badges, you can get additional loot too:
- If you log out in Ouroboros, in addition to working towards the day job badge, you will also get a short duration of the bonus associated with the badge, which is an increased chance at receiving a recipe upon any mission complete. Most times when I got a recipe for mission complete, it was a Generic IO. Since I was level 50 while doing this, they were of course, level 50 recipes. These recipes can be used if you are still working towards the crafting memorization badges as they are rather expensive to buy from the crafting table. if you have already finished the memorization badges, you can sell them on the Black Market to work towards the sales badges. Or, if you already have all of the memorization and sales badges, you can just sell the recipes to a vendor. I would sell to the Tree of Wonder in my SG base. Level 50 Generic IO recipes are worth about 100,000 infamy each. Some are more (Damage, Accuracy, Recharge) , some are less (Immobilize, Stun). And, you can also sometimes get some decent Pool B recipes doing this too. The best part is that since Flashback gives a double mission complete reward, many times I got two recipes at mission complete! Sometimes both Generic IOs, sometimes 1 Generic and one Pool B, and rarely, 2 Pool B recipes.
- You can also get salvage drops along the way too. Depending on the way Common and Uncommon salvage are priced, this could add up to a big chunk of Infamy, though not countnig towards the earning badges.
- I also made sure to have some inspiration slots empty. I seemed to get 1 inspiration every time I ran the mission. Just a Tier 1, but it allowed me to add some stock to the SG bin for other characters to use.
- You will also get 1 Reward Merit for each time you complete this mission. That's 100 Reward merits total. 4 random rolls, or save them up for a bigger purchase.

IV. Wrapup
So, hopefully you'll see like I did that you turn a mind numbing exercise in repetitiveness into something a little more interesting.
Typically I would log in while getting ready for work in the morning a few times a week and run it twice before heading off to the daily grind, but in the evening or on the weekend I would usually run this mission about 3 times before I'd get bored with it and move on to a different character or go play the market, but a few times, I would run through it 6 or 7 times at a sitting. Overall, it has taken me a little over a month to get this badge, but had I really focused on it, I could have probably managed to get it in about a week. That would mean running the mission about 15 times per day for a time investment of about 2 hours a day.
Between all of the mission completes, salvage drops, recipe drops and defeats, I pulled in well over 12,000,000 infamy just doing this and putting all Salvage and Pull B recipes up for 5 Infamy on the Black Market, and selling all Generic IO recipes to the Tree of Wonder.
I'd be interested in hearing from anyone who has tried something similar to this, any comments from someone who tries this method, and even any general comments or things I missed.

The Untouchable badge is awarded to both Heroes and Villains for "Defeating 100 Family bosses."
Assault Rifle Blasters/Corruptors and Mercenary Masterminds who obtain this badge will also unlock the ability to choose the Tommy Gun in the costume creator. While running an Assault Rifle corruptor I thought I'd like to unlock this...but I could not find any bosses that counted towards this badge. Everyone I defeated counted toward the Gangbuster badge.
The catch is that the Family bosses (Consigliere or Underboss) can not be of the "Marcone" variety. Hero-side this is no problem, as there are NO Marcone family Hero-side. Family are in abundance in Striga Isle and Independence Port. Villain-side this is a problem, since almost all Family that can be found are Marcone.
According to the Wiki Page, there are Non-Marcone Family in the Dock area of Nerva. I swept the southern area of Nerva for about 2 hours one night, and never found one that counted for this badge.
Since my Assault Rifle corruptor was just an alt and not my main badger villain, I passed on this badge. I did however still want to get it on my main badger villain. So, where to find Non-Marcone bosses other than the unfruitful method of repeatedly clean sweeping the Nerva Docks in the hopes that maybe one will spawn? I wanted to be able to progress towards this badge on my own time and not need to round up a full team of 8 to do it, and also see some progress without having to rely completely on random chance for a spawn to maybe occur.
I found an easier way...
The easiest way to get this badge is via the Ourobouros Flashback system. The Agent of Discord badge mission contains a single Non-Marcone Boss to defeat as part of the mission objective. So, all you need to do is complete the Badge mission 100 times! Simple! Well, OK, it could become mind numbingly boring to run the same mission 100 times, and, not really much of a guide if that's all the info I was providing for you, so continue to read and discover some additional hints and suggestions for your journey to becoming an "Untouchable" Villain!
Since my badger villain is an Ice/Thermal corruptor, I would need to be able to do this relying almost exclusivley on my primary set. Why? Because the Thermal set is mainly a team focused buffing set. There are only 3 powers in the set that are not single target, ally-only powers. One is a PBAoE heal, and the other two are the Tier 8 and 9 debuffs. Since I will be malefactored down to level 30 while doing the flashback, the two debuffs would be unavailable to me (They aren't available until 35 and 38). Since I'd be working for this badge using only the heal and my primary attack powers, being a corruptor could mean a challenge against boss level foes. I took advantage of the difficulty settings and put myself on the default setting of Villainous, assuring that as long as I was solo, any bosses in the mission would downgrade to Lt status.
It's a simple mission to complete, all you need to do is defeat the "Negotiators" at the end, which is a group of 2 foes - 1 Arachnos "Wolf Spider Huntsman" and 1 "Underboss" (Our actual target). Defeat them both and the mission completes. So you're probably wondering, why bother defeating them both when all we really want is the Family Boss since we're working for the Untouchable badge, right? Just defeat the Family Boss, exit and reset the mission. Well, yes, technically that would be correct, but, bear with me, you'll see why I defeated both, and why I am ultimately writing this guide.
