Electron Haze

Can this power honestly take 6 damage procs? Has anyone ever tried it?

Or 5 damage procs and the -res proc?

If there is some downside to that that I'm not seeing (cost aside), does anyone have good slotting advice for the power?

There isn't that much point slotting the normal damage procs though. On average at 50 they do about 14 damage (20% chance of 70ish). But at 50 it does 48 damage anyway so an SO will net you 16 damage, for far cheaper.

The Forced Feedback PROC & Achilles Heel in there would be nice. Along with maybe a purple proc, but wouldn't the purple be better in Irradiate because it is easier to hit more people with it. Haze is a pretty thin cone so you don't tend to hit many with it.

Edit : Oh, the knockback is also only a 25%. Won't that have an impact on the Forced Feedback triggering (will FF only get a chance to PROC if the knockback actually occurs?)

But with 6 regular damage procs, that's 120% chance of 70ish, or 84 damage. Now of course, that's not guaranteed, you could have none proc, or about a .0064% chance of all of them hitting for 420 damage.

That's a huge over-simplification of the procs though, and doesn't account for the purple proc or the -res proc...so I was curious to see if anyone has tried it.

But you are right, Irradiate looks like it can be 6-slotted with procs too. You could feasibly have both fully slotted with procs...

Force Feedback would have a chance to proc every time you use the power regardless if knockback actually happens or not.

I can't say I've tried it, nor will I. I put Posi's Blast in there with a recharge replacing the proc. It is most excellent.

For each hit target, you'd end up with a 0.8^6 chance that the procs will all fail to hit. That's 26.21% chance that none of them will trigger - roughly a fourth of your targets will be unaffected by all those procs. With no slots for end cost reduction or recharge, it seems like a bit of a gamble whether it'll be worth it or not.

I have the force feedback proc in my EH on my rad/cold corr, it works surprisingly well. I had very low expectations but ended up rather pleased. It's not as effective as it is in repulsion bomb on my bubbler but I ended up satisfied with the result anyway.
