Burnt Matchstick Project

Added a couple shots from my second costume on my Dominator on Triumph.



And one of my blaster I had sitting around for a bit.

Got another commission through the ever generous Caemgen from the ever awesome Foo. I told him he could have free reign on which character he picked, and he went with my Tanker. Great timing as a surprise Christmas present. Check it out! (click for larger version)

Yet another mini-update. I made a new outfit for my blaster using some of the santa pieces for the holiday season (even though it's a little late now), I'm not sure if I'm totally happy with it yet, I plan on adding the naughty halo too once I get enough candy canes. It just doesn't feel quite right - and I'm not just talking about the lack of the stripe, or maybe that really is why I don't quite like it. I dunno. I'd be happy with suggestions for it. I really like the new mask though, it fits perfectly with the blaster's bio - she's blind.



edit: And now I have removed this costume in favor of the version in the post below.

Mini Update 1-9: Blaster's up to level 39 now, and I picked out a third costume that I like pretty well thanks to Thirty-Seven's costume help thread. It's something different as the first one without the stripe down the middle. It's based on more like a wooden pattern.

Update 1/09/10: And yet again proving all the sketchers love my Brute's second costume, ChristopherRobin made a great sketch of his second costume for his 40 sketches in 60 days New Years resolution.

Forgot that I meant to give this a new post, but I also recently made my fourth costume slot for my Blaster. Her third costume slot got rid of Fat Stripe 2 in favor of a total body wooden match style costume. This fourth slot goes the same direction, but more fitting with the Burnt Matchstick name.

A nice gift sketch from Lady Judgement of my Dominator after I just missed another offer from the generous Caemgen. I love how he made her face look more womanly, but still kept touches from the alien face. - Click for larger version.



Also, I went through and formatted most of my entries to be more standardized.

More arts, kinda. I went and colored one of my older sketches I had gotten for my Scrapper. Check it out, I think it turned out pretty well.



I'm looking for comments and suggestions, so please comment here, or in its own thread.

These aren't exactly new, but I realized I hadn't posted them in here yet. I colored Christopher Robin's sketch of my Brute and I really like how it turned out.



And for the April Fan Art battle, I made my blaster out of popsicle sticks to fit in with the kindergarten theme.

I have something to add to the project.

Some DEFINITE props need to go to Frost, who did the programming so the display could be as wonderfully book-like as it is.

Time for an update again!

I've ran through some of the new clone missions on my Guardian controller on a PuG. It was quite fun, I really like those new clone arcs. Will have to run through them on my Brute sometime soon.



I've also been really enjoying VexXxa's friday night themed costume TFs on my Virtue blaster even if they're depleting my free costume change tokens. They've gotten her up to level 49, and hopefully 50 next week!

And I got another piece of free art, this time from Juggertha who was doing a late night 80's TV trivia contest. I got the 7th and final spot by answering "What do you do on Jump Street?" Jump.

And last night a little while after our Kahn TF, my Burnt Matchstick blaster on Virtue hit level 50. Ding!
