Costume Slider

I would like to see the slider option expanded. Have the option to make different parts of your body smaller/larger. Head, neck, shoulders, arms, forearms, hands, torso, upper leg, lower leg, and feet. Have the option to make them thicker, thinner, longer, and wider. It would add an almost infinite range of body types for characters.

You could have just said: Please add all of the character sliders CO offers to CoX.
I of course support the idea, but I think it's probably a classic case of "easier said than done".

Ryver 50 Ele Blaster [1392 Badges]

I don't even know why anyone would hate this idea...
The insane possiblilities are endless... and fun to imagine!

It's not "impossible" nor would it be that hard from what I know. The problem with it is that with doing something like this you change the dynamics of thousands of costume pieces which would all need to be checked and such.

Another thing is, the limitation helps most people create a decent to good looking character where as the more you remove limits the harder it is for a person to create something worth looking at that the creator likes.

...crap! Very good point, Durakken. the man-hours needed for this could possibly reach epic proportions! But then again, the same was said of Power Customization...

...Ok, another good point... I don't really have much to say on that one...

And that is why you implement already premade versions just like they currently have with the face slider, chiseled, slim, etc... It could be done with the body, you could have huge, slim, fat, heroic, acrobatic, etc... or you could go custom.

Agreed. Character Creator 2.0 will be done for I16's Power Customization. Time to start on Character Creator 3.0.

And no, I'm not being sarcastic - competition should push innovation, as it has since NCSoft purchased the rest of the CoH IP from Cryptic back in 2007.

Couldn't have said it better myself. I'm glad CO and DCUO are coming to the market, it will make it an even bigger priority to push the game to become even better.
