Yep Emmi, back when MTV played the music videos, they were the best.

Sorry Neko! /e gives Adamantium Skeleton Perk.

That should help. *hugs and sparks go flying across the place*

Ooh sparkly!

Yes Rad the cobalt blue black one I got is verry nice. It plays my Disgaea well too :P

I liked it when Art Adams did the New Mutants artwork. Didn't the NM's pretty much disintegrate after the Mutant Massacre? Book wise that is? I don't remember it running too much longer after that. Maybe just me.

It's been near forever since I read my NM books. I know it lasted until 100. I'm sad to say I collected almost from the start up to the end.. Even when it was totally jumping the Liefeld shark. I kept hoping it would get better. NM was one of my favorite comic series and had some of my favorite characters. (Magik, Doug, Warlock) And I nabbed up all the specials and spin offs I could. I loved Art Adam's stuff too.

Back to Fallout a sec.. Do you play on PC Rook? And if so, do you use mods? Specifically FOOK (Fallout Overhaul Kit). I'm having some issues with the new beta version, kinda wondering if I can get it working right and I'm missing something, or if I should just yank it out until they have a stable version working...

SG Mate: Cien, what the hell is this Rookery thing?
RadDidIt: (interjecting) Dude. It's the Rookery.
SG Mate: Yeah, but what IS it?

*strolls through the post-apocalyptic barren rookery wasteland, wearing a gas-mask, poncho, and a giant straw hat* What happened here?

The annual where they all went to Asgard was a great one. One of the few comics I still wish I owned actually.

Hiya Bayani. Count Logan dropped a bomb on us and we are all mutating from the radiation. Feel free to mutate as well.

I got super sharp x-ionized titanium wings and razor sharp claws and I changed my name to BLOOD ROOK of DOOMINATION!

Still trying it out.

How you doing?

*floats in on the FBBCOD(TM), which is currently carpet-bombing a mini-Tokyo with paintballs*

Good morning, Rookery. Should I get my gas mask, or have we not gotten to play with the neat toys yet?

Today's landscape is oddly appropo, with the results of the soft launch of that other game. The carnage resembled this.

Mornign AreEss and Fedor!

I swallowed a rebreather yesterday but the pirate queen statue over there has a gas mask on it. She's made of wood so I don't think she really NEEDS it.

Pink is a good color for mini-Tokyo. Nice grouping with those carpet bombs. :P

/e gives Fedor irradiated donuts with sprinkles. Only +2 per second! :>

I'll pass on the mutating but continue wearing this strange outfit. I'm just writing an article and prepping for the PFL fantasy football league. Tweaking the website and getting everything organized. It was expensive this year. >.<

I'll have a slice of donut without quite so much radiation in it please. Hello Fedor. I swear, we can't seem to keep the world not destroyed for more than a few minutes.

Though it does make me want to work on a post apocalyptic COX arc. I was thinking of doing a sort of X-men sentinel future type of storyline, where the heroes get yoinked out of time and asked to help prevent some sort of devastation. I'd use a Warburg nuke attack triggering WW3, but let's be honest... The world powers would be tired as heck if they went to hit the Big Red Button or felt threatened every time a missle was launched from Warburg. They're all like *REEET REEET REEET NUCLEAR LAUNCH DETECTED* "Oh, someone must be doing the Lady Grey task force again, yawn."

Of course, I'll be putting it up for everyone to try if it gets made. I need to sit down and fool with the mission creator and work out details right now. It's all in pre-planning sketchy phase at the moment. One thing I need to know is if it's possible to use ruined outdoor maps in a mission (think the villain starting area). Also if it's possible to mix enemy types in a map.

My overall thoughts are that the players wind up being abducted through time to somewhere in the generic near future. One of the few remaining sane people in the world needs help and managed to get a time teleporter working. However it doesn't work well, and instead of bringing the heroes right to the contact, it drops them in the world above, causing them to have to make their way though part of a destroyed city. I'd like to have at least two groups in the city fighting each other and the players. Then an underground level to reach the contact's secret base, with lots of radiation zombies (Vahz). Then a big climatic fight where the contact sends the team into his past (their future still) to put a stop to the Big Event that destroyed the world. Tech facility with Crey-like security forces and a scientist to stop at the end.

Actually, Sackpeople do the apocalypse well. I saw a video at one point of a Fallout 3 inspired LBP level. I didn't save the link though, because while the level design was interesting enough, watching a bunch of sack boys run back and forth in it randomly for 10 minutes wasn't that interesting.

And the arms work fine, Fed. *gives a whirring thumbs up and takes the Cyborg perk*
