I just lost 60 million inf from the market, and it wasn't my fault!

I pulled several recipes from the market that I had decided I listed too high for the rate of sales that I wanted. They did not return to my inventory.

3 recipes bought for around 60 million. Gone.

I'm not upset that I lost 60 million. I'm upset that I lost the profit I would have made from flipping those.

The word filter keeps me from expressing my true feelings right now. This will have to do:

I'm waiting for a GM, so I wanted to come to the boards to complain while I wait. Has anyone else had a case where the market just failed to give you your stuffs?



GIMME MAH STUFFS BACK!

30 minutes later:

Come on, GMs. I want to play the game instead of waiting. ARRGH.

My theory is that there was a duplication glitch at one point with the markets. I believe the rapid removal of two slots of the same item caused the second slot to be lost. In any case:



edit: that's 30 minutes after filing the petition, not 30 minutes after whining on the forums. I had to whine in broadcast first, and then realize I just blew my niche to anyone in Cap on Infinity at 10:24 EST. At least I'm not blowing my niche on the forums.

The GM's will give you your money back. It will probably take about 24 hours. Make sure you make a note of the time it happened, what you were trading, which server you were on, and on which characters. All of this will help customer support.

Customer Support in this game is very dedicated and are very nice people. If, for whatever reason, you get a copy+pasted response from GM Rolland then just fire an email back and they should send you to a dedicated GM.

Thanks for the reply. My experience with the GM team have always been positive thus far. I do however, really like that that I have the mad face again. Can you tell?

This was redside.

I logged in this morning to find one of the missing recipes in my inventory. It wasn't the missing stack, but it's better than nothing.

I've noticed unusual server lag lately. While the mapserver is fine for me on infinity, the login screen and the markets have been problematic. I often have to close out the interface to get actions done on the market, and logging in takes way too much time to verify my credentials. It's annoying when I'm doing my rounds on the market.

I've learned my lesson: don't pull things off the market in rapid succession.
