I hear a lot of wah wahwah...I am flying to con from Germany.....I doubt I am the one coming from the farthest either...If it was important to you, youd make it happen...perhaps a few random exceptions but, ya, no more excuses
I'm going to Steam Con instead. It's on the same weekend, and in my hometown, and will save me about 300 bucks + no missed work.

We've been spending pretty liberally this summer on furnishings and electronics, all of which we'll keep enjoying long after the Con is over. ;]

they both are awesome.. just depends what you go for.
Rides : Great America
Attractions and Animal shows : Six Flags
However..
For sand, ocean, people watching, surfer gawking, old skool rides and cheezy fun :

I was merely looking up what to do in the area as I will be getting there a few days early so I can also enjoy what cali has to offer, If Great America be better great america it is...i want a day of adrenaline fun to kill time before con, and think it would be cool, to get others to join.
