Advice on WM/Stone

Was tinkering around with the idea of WM/Stone. I am not good in Mid but this is what I came up with. This would be for for some farming and pve.

Any advise. Anything totally stupid I did? Never made a stoner before. Been more of a corr & dom person.

Slot Earth's Embrace for heal and rech, not resistance. I recommend 5 slotting Doctored Wounds.

Find a place to put the steadfast +3 def unique.

Slot Granite armor for resistance as well as defense. Sorta like this:

Also, health seems a little over-slotted to me. I'm guessing that you just want some more set bonuses, though, so it's not that big of a deal.

I'd take the Rgn Tissue unique out of rooted and put in into health (Just take out a Numi enhance instead). Also, switch the enhances in rooted to Doctored Wounds, you'll get much more mileage out of that.

Oh, I forgot - you'll want to 3-slot sprint for run because of rooted and granite.

Also, on this:

I'd trade the numi end/rech for a heal/end and miracle triple for a heal/end or heal/rech.

Slotting health well is important for a stoner because you get more regeneration in rooted.

Adding on to what Kioshi said about your lolrunspd, AFAIK you can slot a Gift of the Ancients +Run into Rock Armor. And you dont even need to have it toggled for it to work!


Might as well make the power slot useful once you get Granite *shrug*

Btw since you're using purple sets you can easily overcome the penalties in Granite. With this build you'll run in Granite almost as fast as a Sprint-using 'normal' toon, have good recovery and regen (531% in Rooted). I changed the power order a little because some things confused me (Clobber at 30, it's your best attack!), etc. It's based off my Elec/Stone build:

Since we're talking about WM/Stone is Whirling Mace worth it for a walking rock or is it a waste of Power ? While i like the looks of it (still low level atm) i don't know yet how efficient it is.. Thx

I find Whirling an End-saver on my WM/WP - it's great for taking that last little sliver off multiple opponents at once. The stun sometimes comes in handy too (mostly for detoggling, more than anything).
