Stf...
I'm curious if they intend on changing the AI again to "fix" that too. Like you said, it can still be overcome easily with the right approach, so I'm wondering if they will just leave it alone because of that.
When I first reported it the night the change happened, the GM said it was a bug. They said it was escalated. Weeks later, the Devs said they knew nothing about it, despite the multiple reports and threads on the forum. Last I knew, they were finally "looking into it". That was also weeks ago though.
I would also like to know the status of this. Is it considered a bug? Or has the difficulty of STF been raised as to compete with the insanity known as LRSF? lol.
It just annoyance but a MSTF can still be easily done...
Just did one last weekend and only thing was just to watch for the repairmen.
And that was easy part.
Oh and this wasn't cookie cutter team.
No stone tank( was a fire tank) No emp.

There are several powers that any single toon can have to keep the repairmen under control. From almost any pet, to Bonfire, to Hurricane, and many large radius AoE attacks... it just takes 1 of them used correctly to give you a huge advantage against the unintended repairmen change.
Note: Just because it was an unintended change, doesn't make it a bug, and doens't mean it'll be fixed. Last official word we heard was that the Dev's weren't aware of it, despite all our posts and bug reports, and they'd look into it.

It certainly has added a new wrinkle to team building for MoSTF runs. But it definitely makes experimentation for the vets something to be discouraged (like all defender or all troller STF's).
I reported it in-game as a bug within the weeks it happened. Hopefully they will devote some attention to this soon, at least for the sake of the experimenters.

Weeks later, Devs didn't have a clue it was even a "problem". lol. We were told it was lost in the shuffle of "forwarding to the dev team" stuff and wasn't looked at yet.
I'd say "Hopefully they give it some consideration", but I don't mind it either way. It was annoying having all 3 teams fail that night, but we have adjusted and done several runs since then.
I'd love to get an update on whether the repairman bug is likely to get fixed. It hasn't prevented me from doing normal runs, since it can still be overcome. But it has prevented me from doing some more experimental runs (ie with a lot fewer people). If it's not being classified as a bug, and will be left as is, I'd just like to know so I can abandon these projects - they are costing a lot of influence
