Custom Target Binds
ive tried but from what ive seen theres no way to target another player like that(specific player) best thing to do is to just target who you need too and make a bind like/Bind <key> say >>>$target<<<
Yeah, we've done that one but the names are made to look all alike. That's why I was asking. Thanks for the response though
You can't make a targetname bind for PvP, just like you can't target "through" someone in PvP.
"One day we all may see each other elsewhere. In Tyria, in Azeroth. We may pass each other and never know it. And that's sad. But if nothing else, we'll still have Rhode Island."
PvP target binds were nerfed long ago. To my knowledge there are no longer any that work.
Closest I can think of...but haven't tested in a long time, was if your in the arena and your opponents are the same faction as you, Friend them (Not global, /friend) and you can target them through your friends list provided their within range/Perception.
It's how buffers were able to find targets in anything larger than an 8v8...pretty sure it works for offense too.
There is a "bind" in-game that targets a certain enemy (example: /bind <key> target_custom_next <name or partial name of enemy>). I use this bind all the time when I'm working on defeat badges or gladiator badges and STF's (security chief?) - I love it.
However, it does not work in PvP. In team PvP I would like to use a bind to have everyone target the same person at the same time.
Does anyone know a similar bind that does work in PvP? It'd be pretty handy to have on team PvP
Thanks
