Whew! Finally!

I got my Fire/Electric Dom to level 50. I now have every Fire Control Dominator permutation to level 50, and every Fire Control Controller permutation to level 50. It took me just over 5 years.

I'm too lazy for that!

I can tell you that initially my least favorite combo at low levels was Fire/Ice but at high levels it was my second favorite.

Man, I just couldn't seem to find a Fire/Ice build at low levels that killed well enough that I wouldnt die. I think the powers I liked werent the ones I should have taken. It was a long struggle, and I admit that I was lucky to team with some friends playing brutes and masterminds during my 20s and 30s to get to the point that I changed my mind. Basically, I was glad I had the firepower of allies. By the time I hit my late 30s or early 40s, I really felt I had enough area and single target damage to go along with my controls.

So by the time I was level 50, Fire/Ice was definitely my second favorite.

My favorite was Fire/Thorns. My #3 favorite after the recent changes was Fire/Energy.

EDIT: tho its still a tough call. I really love my Fire/Thorns character's look and concept. Divorcing my character looks/idea appeal from the powersets, I might pick Fire/Ice over Fire/Thorns if I was only examining the powersets. Hard to be sure.

My least favorite was Fire/Psi, before and after the changes, tho I love my character conceptually.
