Best Newb Guide n tips ?

Leave an sg - Click Super on top of your chat box, then bottom right click Quit.

Starting out try UHB Channel. If you want to do Task Forces and Monster Hunts try BMT. If you want AE Story Arcs try Champion MA Channel. You have to find someone to get you an invite to these specialty channels.

Big sg's, there are some really good ones, i recommend United Heroes Brigade (UHB), Hammers of Justice (HoJ), or ALL-OUT-WAR (AOW). How to find a member is easy - use the little "r" for request channel on the bottom of your chat area, or stand in atlas and use broadcast, there are good odds there will always be someone there from any of these 3 sg's.

If your mainly into PvP then ask a Pingu or Protector of Neverland (PoN), i dont like these sg's but thats because i am not big on PvP (Player vs Player) but these guys are extremely good at what they do.

i10 Fire/Storm Controller Guide by Eldandil, it is old since we are in i15 but almost all of it is a level by level guide to what you can find as temp powers and badges, most of which is still correct, i still recommend looking in the Guides section and checking things out here in the Forums!

Hello fairly new player here . Picked up the game a few days ago and was browsing through the forums a couple times. The BMT channel thing has me a bit confused though. I don't quite understand how to enter the channel or whatnot. I've also played around with a few archetypes not quite satisfied with anyone yet other than the scrapper, I also kind of enjoy the tanker . There are various other questions I have but I can't quite recall them atm. Great forums btw

And umm global name? Not certain. The chat mechanics of the game are still very new to me. I've mainly been playing with my cousin up till where I am now.

what was the name of the very first character you created? by default that will be your global name ( or the name people can contact you with , no matter what actual character you are playing)

Ohh okay, Prethena I believe, in the middle of a mission atm though so I'll check to be certain once I pop out. It was a martial arts scrapper and I just wasn't feeling it very much so I stopped working on her.

Ohhh I think I see, you're on Champion server. I picked Pinnacle. I hadn't realized that's the forum I was in. I simple did a search for newbie guide to try and find a guide that would best inform me of the basics and whatnot. Looking at the forum that I'm in though I see I'm in Champion . That's likely why it doesn't work . My first character is Prethena though and the character I'm currently playing is named Narea.
