How can i know the amount of bonus i have from Io's set?

On my troller im equipping different sets that gives me + recovery bonus (some from damage set, some from pet sets etc...)... some gives +1.5, some gives +4...
Is there a cap limit?
Is there a way to know the amount of + recover bonus im getting from all set?

Same questions for + defense or other bonus i can get...

You can stack 5 of the same magnitude of bonuses for each type.

So for recovery youc an stack 5 x 1.5%, 5x 2% 5x4% etc

The absolute recovery cap is not reachable with set-bonuses and varies by AT from 500% to 750%

give hard caps

It sounds like you either want the combat attribute screen or Mid's Hero Builder. To access the combat attributes click powers then combat attributes. This will pop-up a screen displaying all of your various stats.

No it does not.

I believe you can stack 5 of the same name, which is usually but not always the same thing as 5 of the same magnitude. But for example there is a 7.5% recharge bonus that has a different name than the 7.5% Luck of the Gambler recharge, so it stacks separately and you can have 5 of each.

And as to the OP's question of how you can see all your set bonuses, you can look at the Combat Attributes window. Click your Powers menu and then click Combat Attributes at the very top. That brings up a new window. You can expand the Base section to see the Recovery Rate section that all the recovery bonuses you've got. It lists them by bonus name, but doesn't list the power they're coming out of.

Mids will not pop up any obvious warnings either. You have to go to a separate window called Sets and Bonuses (I think), and any bonuses over the limit of 5 will be shown in red.

I highly recommend using Mids to plan out any build. Note that Mids can't currently do builds with some of the most recent IOs that have been added to the game, but the new developer is working hard to get those incorporated.

Out of curiosity, why did you include the Google search which you used to find the cohplanner.com site? Just something I noticed

Heh. I didn't have the site bookmarked and was trying to get the link quickly. So I did the Google search and just copied the URL in Google's result list rather than actually clicking the link and copying the site's real URL. I'll try to remember to do it right it in the future.

It wasn't a criticism; I was just curious.

This is indeed true, but I was going for the general 'rule of thumb' to explain to a basic user.

Speaking of Mid's, does anybody know if it's going to be updated any time soon? It's a great tool, but I'd hate to see it become too outdated to use.

Steiner is working on it.

Uhm.... are you sure we can stack 5 bonus with the same name?
I have 5 luck of gambler sets on my tanker (not completed yet), so i should have +10 regeneration bonus x5.... am i correct?
I've looked combat attributes when i had 4 set on tanker (22,22 hp/s), and then i looked it again when i bought the fifth... i didnt get any + regeneration bonus, still 22,22 hp/s

What's wrong?

Did you change anything else? A decrease in your max HPs could account for it. Try logging out and logging in again to reset your set bonuses as well. If it still seems to only show four you might want to report it as a bug. I believe that the rule of 5 was explained by one of the developers so it should be correct.

didnt change anything else... :/
My regeneration bonus from sets is 0.21 = thats means im getting regeneration bonus +10% x 5.... it sounds correct...
however, the total of my + regeneration is 0,95%, the same i had using only 4 sets :/
Something is obviously wrong, just cant understand what

Wierd, as far as I know you're no where near the +regen cap for a tanker

You may have another Regen bonus - probably called "Large Regen Bonus"- from another set.

+10% regen comes from Scirocco's Dervish, from Entropic Chaos, from Luck of the Gambler and probably from a couple other places.

So if you had one +10% from Scirocco and four +10%'s from LoTG, and you added another LoTG, you wouldn't get any more regen. They all have the same "name" . There are very few bonuses of the same value with different names: Luck of the Gambler recharge is one, and I think Impervium Armor Psi Resistance is one. For almost everything, a +5% recharge is a +5% recharge is a +5% recharge no matter where it comes from. And a +10% regen is a +10% regen is a +10% regen, likewise.

So you think you're a hero, huh.
