Rad/Sonic is a good idea?

I would like to try a Rad/Sonic Corruptor, just for PvE. Is it a good combo?

I do not want an AV killer, but I do not want to roll a useless toon neither.

Both of the following statements are true:

1) No toon is useless.

2) Any toon can be useless.

That is all.

switch it to Sonic/Rad if you don't want to be gimpy while solo and still very useful for teams.

Sounds like a great team character and a fairly bad solo one.

I'd actually switch it around to make is sonic/rad. this gives you some decent offense with the unholy debuffs that come with rad. Having said that, your original idea is still pretty good for solo and team play. Like some one else said, no toon is useless.
