Elude awesome yes but don't plan on it really helping for defeating AV's. I don't think you could put out enough damage to take down an AV before elude wears off.
It entirely depends on which AV you're facing and your build, I'd have to say.
It was challenging, but my Night Widow did, actually, manage to take down BAB solo. I felt bad, considering all of the work he's putting in on Power Customization, but, really, his hair clashed with my clothing, so I had to lay him out on the floor.
But seriously, between my initial Stealth Build-Up'd crit off Slash, followed by Placating on cooldown, and a LOAD of Poison Darting, I did it. It was close. But I did it.
Then again, I didn't /actually/ Elude right away. I got a few hits in first. Mind Link is a beautiful thing... I only Eluded for the Endurance.
So. It is possible. A challenge, but possible. Most EBs, otoh, are walks in the park.
So I was anxious to get to level 35 with my Arachnos Widow to pick-up Elude. Now, hovering at level 47, I cannot tell you how much I love this power. Of course with the good comes the drawback as when this power wears off, you're left standing there empty of all end! I can live with that as I just plan my major "Boss" battles around my Eludes recharging schedule. I currently have it four slotted with "Increase Attack Rate" enhancements and have my Hasten four slotted with the same. With that being said, it still says recharge time is around 8 minutes. It does seem to come back faster so I don't think that is factoring in any additional bonus recharge time with Hasten? Also, I believe the total time Elude can be active is 3 minutes then it shuts down like a over heated nuclear reactor.
I have yet to go straight up against an AV. Elites no problem so now I am starting to feel confident and a little cocky about what this power can do so bring on the AV's!! Any other suggestions or opinions out there are welcome regarding this subject. Thanks!
