Really, I don't know what's making me do this (probably because I have to get back in a particular mindset for work), but for the record? Wherefore, in Shakespearean language? It means why.
"Wherefore art thou Romeo?" means, "Why are you named Romeo?" - Juliet is making a reference to the fact that he's a Montague, and off-limits for her. She's not asking where he is.
So "Wherefore art thou Hamidon?" Is asking what made him, why is he who he is. My guess? Bad science experiment gone wrong. (But who reads game content to be sure? )
