On a more serious note, I'm enthusiastically waiting for I16 to drop so I can make my Elec/Shield Scrapper.
Well when I16 hits I will be making a Kat/Elec. Some of my Fav combos are
Fire/Fire
DM/SD
DB/Regen
DM/Fire
Fire/Regen
Kat/Regen
BS/SD
and the list could go on.

From what I get out the OP, one scrapper isn't enough so here is my list:
1. Let's say the OP can't wait for i16 and need something now, my first scrapper is DB/Inv. The super strong taunt aura will work wonders with the aoe combos sweep and attack vitals. And can be a good ST attack set as well.
2. Still can't wait for i16? DM/SR. I dusted mine off after 2 years of sitting douring double XP weekend. Lvl 40 now and no sets yet and I'm luving it.
3.The first two should be enough for you to tied you over for i16 so that brings me to spine/elec. That combo is going to rival spine/dark and spine/fire for scrapper AOE supremacy. It may even take the crown since it won't be an end hog. All them slows and end drain goodies.
4. This is my prediction for FoTM elec/SD. I understand why. Two TP AoE attacks, AAO buffing up the dmg of the end draining set, lots of aoes.
Those four should tied you over for now. Have fun.

Yeah I can't wait till issue 16 so I can make my Spines/Elec and Elec/SD.
I should really play something other than a Scrapper....... nah, I shouldn't.
So not much love for dark? I had been looking at a DB or Kat/Dark. I haven't had an Invul for years so I will try either DB or Kat with Invul or Dark.. Might just flip a coin for each, lol.
I love Scraps and Brutes. This past month I have created an army of Brutes and enjoyed leveling each one. Now it's time to make a few Scrappers. I have a 50 Spines/Regen, Spines/Fire, BS/WP, Claws/SR and FM/SD. Any suggestions for a new Scrap? I PvE only now thanks to the 'improvements' to PvP. I like to solo AVs, Farm, and run AE/TFs. I have never tried DB, MA or Kat. I also have not tried DA or Invul for Scrappers. I have a 50 DM/SD Brute and that is one combo that I keep thinking about. So many people on the forums say how great it is for Scrappers. If anyone has a sick combo let me know!
Edit: Money is not an issue so if it requires a lot of influence to pull off, that's cool.
