How's Waterspout?
why get a travel power when you can have a raptor pack!
I personally skipped the shield, and took Water Spout. But that is because I usually dont allow bad guys to hit me in the first place, or I minimize it.
Anyway, Water Spout is pretty awesome to behold, and it does good damage if it get to leverage it (say, due to you whipping it out on an immobilized group, or using it on a Boss or Elite type when his allies are defeated, so it can focus on the one tough guy). It also does knock-up, which is fun to watch.
But, it isnt essential. I use it every time it is up, but I can't say it has been necessary.

I have an earth/fire/levi domi and I can say that, while it isn't essential, it's absolutely one of my favorite powers to use. You can proc a +Rech from Stupefy in it to help get perma dom as well.
It's a freaking AWESOME looking power that helps out a bit with the holds, and it looks absolutely incredible with earthquake going on. I've had brutes complain that I outsmash them.
Just wondering, I'm rocking a Plant/Thorns in slot crunch in the 40s, may have to sacrifice getting travel power to fit everything in, just wondering if Waterspout's any good. Already took Bile Spray, of course getting the shield, and Hibernate looks like a good Oh Frell! panic button.
