The Fengshui and the Shadow play

This is my 1st story posted. I tried to make an interesting story arc integrated in CoH lore. It is 4 mission long, but 3 missions are fairly short. There is a fair amount of text and this is a hero story line.

It is with a full custom enemy group (minions, lts, bosses and one AV). The enemy group is designed not to be super hard, but challenging for solo players and teams. This is why I suggest to play it with a toon level 40 and above and be carefull about your difficulty setting.

Arc No 292579

Title: The Fengshui and the Shadow play

Synopsis: A known enemy group brings a new threat from 18th century China.

So I'm looking for feedback. I would like to know what you think of the storyline, the choice of maps, the enemy power design and costumes, etc.

I hope you will enjoy and I thank you in advance for feedback

Tried it. The enemies were quite annoying with their stealth strikes but not horrible. It was kind of cool as a Stalker to sneak a hit on the foe only to have them do the same on me. The allies you find along the way didn't last long either, they'd usually drop after a couple of fights so no help there.

There were some grammar/spelling errors too. I remember seeing 'tehy' instead of 'they' and some other stuff I didn't make a note of. Sorry >_>

Getting to the last mission: I took a left, defeated the group near the lock box, busted it open. Jumped over Lady Guan, took out the boss past her then turned and took out Guan herself but after that the mission didn't end. I searched everywhere on the tiny map for anything I missed and found nothing. So I wasn't able to finish the mission. It might have just been a fluke though.

Story-wise, I was sort of in a rush so didn't read all the text (I read the mission text but only skimmed the clues) and can say it's pretty solid. Not sure the first map is all that appropriate for Ancient China but there isn't much to work with (I want to use that map in the Cimerora SF that's inside the castle). Overall, if I were able to finish the thing, I'd give it a 3.8-4.2 stars.

Summary: It was challenging, the story was solid, the mistakes were minimal and overall entertaining. For a hero arc, it didn't make me feel like 'that cape that's on the foe's tail', you know? I didn't feel like I was saving the day like was implied (sort of like how I expect villain arcs to either make me feel like a heartless killer, a menace to the world or something like that. Anyway, you did a good job. Kudos.

Thank you for the comments. I fixed some typos and grammars. I tested the published version. The last mission completed correctly, so it might be a litttle bug, a stalker mob on Hide you didn't aggro or a mob hidden behind an obstacle in the corner. I changed the mission objective for "Stop the AV and her minions" So it is now clearer.

Based on you feedback, I changed one mission to give a little sense of emergency.

I chose this 1st map, because it kinda reminds me of the Northern China landscape. But I totally agree that the map choices are too restrictive. I wish one day we could design the map ourselves, like we can design the enemies.
