Protector Server, LCMS and Can't connect to Login Server

Ya, they should extend the double exp another day or two to make up for this rather...less than optimal...situation. And I don't really think this can be blamed on server load, since well, Protector is one of the least populated servers. Just my opinion of course.
Yeah, this is server issue -- we need another reboot
"Can play" is not a binary. It's a float.
There are some pretty low values of "can play" out there.

This is a server issue the same thing happen last night too. They reboot it and it work, now it is doing the same it again

WHISKY - TAKNGO - FOXTROT?!?
I am SO angry. Double XP weekend and I can't play on either of the servers I want to play on... particularly my HOME server of Protector. Took 5-10 minutes to load-in from sign on... take 2 or 3 steps, mapserve... rinse and repeat. And what a joy to run my lowbie all the way across atlas... for it to rubber band all the way back to agrosy.
I'm peeved enough that I'm considering cancelling my CoH account. BUT, I realize it's late, and I'm tired and peeved because I haven't gotten to play on protector ALL WEEKEND, so maybe I'll feel differently tomorrow.
This is RIDICULOUS. Even other double xp weekends haven't been this bad. Mapserving every 5 seconds is not my idea of fun when I play my video game. What's the deal devs??

I was thinking the same thing - "WTH did I just renew my sub only to have this happen on a weekend I'm supposed to be able to enjoy." But it's the cranky talking.|

I'm just so frustrated with this right now - what's the point of having an ingame event if the game hardware isn't going to work correctly for the duration of said event? Can't do anything before LCTM pops up, can't use any chat channels, including local and team chat because they're not working, logging into the base results in a lockup that I need to do a ctrl-alt-delete hard reboot, not being able to log in characters because they're stuck in a logout loop from crashing due to the LCTM.
Whatever the reboot last night did, it only exacerbated the problem - today has been far worse than yesterday in terms of all of the above problems.

They tout events, then when something like this happens it's "sorry for the inconvenience, and btw we're not doing another one until this time next year" or some such. They love to hear when we love something, but get angry when we don't. I know you can't please all of the people all the time. But having a server being useless basically the whole weekend there's a big event.... sorry don't help. At least not for me.
Even after the Emergency Maintenance last night we are still having issues. It's so bad you can't hardly play on the server. Five to six LCMS messages per mission, plus at least that many stutters where the connection is interrupted.
I'd say it was my connection, but the whole team is experiencing it at the same time and we are scattered all over North America. One in Toronto, one on the West Coast and two on the East Coast.
Please fix the mapserver issues.
