Is Power Sink reliable end recovery?

Looking in Mid's it says you can't enhance Power Sink's accuracy and it has to hit to work. Am I understanding this correctly? If this is true how reliable is this power for end recovery?

75% if the numbers haven't changed from Mids'.

*That should be the base accuracy, I mean.

It's autohit. (It has an accuracy value, yes, but *everything* has an accuracy value. Even powers like Build Up. Autohit overrides it.)

Not only is Power Sink reliable end recovery...its the reason I don't have stamina on my elec/elec brute. Just slot it up a bit and even one enemy will give you back a huge chunk of end. 2 or more will pretty much fill up your end bar and unlike Consume and Dark Consumption...it has a very decent recharge as well as the effect of draining end from your enemy.

It's one of the best end recovery power in the game for an offensive AT. It will make your blue bar happy, no worry. The problem being rather that you dont need Conserve Power at all and that's one useless power in the Elec secondary (while a heal would be so much more useful !).

sweet.

Thanks for the fast replies

It is also a pretty efficient damage mitigation tool when combined with another end draining power. I'm using it on my stone/elec/mu brute, and 3 SOs woth of endmod slotting in Power Sink combined with Ball Lightning (not slotted for endmod) gets the mobs end down to 0.

This is one of my favorite things about it...sure it kinda hurts fury, but when you're soloing fury is tough to get anyway so its not like you're really losing anything by using it.

Actually, I have no problem with fury when doing that, even in the extreme case when the mobs are completely locked down. I usually just let them pound at me for a few seconds while they surround me so that my AoEs catch the most of them, and that spikes up my fury quite nicely. After that, I maintain it (or get it full if it wasn't already) with my attacks and that's enough.

It's easy to get fury soloing if you are using quick animating attacks. If you're using slow attacks (anything over 1.5 seconds), then of course you will have problems with fury.

If you have a slow animating attack chain, throw brawl in and see if your fury bar starts going up.
