8 PM.. what happens with the servers?

Oh, they read it, they just seldom respond here.
Last night, at 8 pm Eastern time on the dot, there was a massive mapserver/login server failure.
Tonight, at 8 pm Eastern time on the dot, there was a massive mapserver/login server failure. What is happening on the west coast data center's servers, at 8 pm eastern, 5 pm pacific time that is causing this? .. Oh, I forgot. Let's see, 5 PM Pacific time. Most likely the day shift is heading home, some of the equipment in the datacenters may have been rebooted to try to hold through the night until they can get back in the morning to monitor things directly.
Or it could be something at the Data center before we get to the servers themselves switching modes on their equipment that gives higher priority during business hours to the customers that are actually their main business. Someone mentioned a while back what that was, but I really didn't care so didn't bother to try to remember.
Or it could be as simple as the power company switching modes on the grid to pull more of the power away from the areas that aren't using it as much, like the business areas that shut down at 5, and that is causing an issue.
The world may never know.

If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.
