MA arc life on expired accounts

Do published MA arcs remain published and accessible if the account expires?
If so, what restrictions/limits are there on this?

I can't remember what the deal is with this and I couldn't find it (certainly doesn't seem to be in I14/15 patch notes).

Not asking for any exploit or to publish anything against the EULA then run, but I've had an idea that could take many arcs to see fully realised and so I'm wondering if I could:

  1. Develop/test the arcs using my existing accounts.
  2. Start a new account (possibly accounts) and just buy a single month subs.
  3. Publish the developed arcs on the new accounts.
  4. Let the accounts lapse/cancel them, and hopefully still have the published arcs available.
And yes - I know I can purchase additional slots, but this may end up taking more than 8 slots and it could be beneficial to spread the arcs over several accounts.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help with an answer.

The arcs will still be there. I know at least one person with expired account whose arc is still available.

Yes arcs stay published even if the account has expired. Just remember though any time a new patch is released that breaks one of your arcs you will have to resubscribe in order to edit them.

Just to confirm, this is true. The arcs exists on the Arc Server forever. It's interesting what you are trying to do. I'd be curious to take a look at your arcs once you are done with them. Are you trying to make true one to fifty content? That is always something I'd like to see more of in AE. However, currently you'd have to form an Arc Guild to ba able to fill the needed content. Perhaps someday we could open up more arcs to the players. Until then, I admire your imagination.
