Auto bind bind

Sooo, I remember asking this before(and getting an answer) but that topic sadly disappeared.

I want to bind a key so that it automatically puts a power(in this case Active Defense) with that green circle around it(auto power or something like that). Because I'm lazy to select it with control.

I want to bind it too my insert key.

/bind insert powexec_auto <power name>

Won't swear to it but it needs quotes around the 2nd part. Thusly:

/bind insert "powexec_auto <power name>"

You only need quotes if you want your bind to do multiple things. Eg:

/bind <key> "Powexec_name fly$$say Up, up, and away!"

for singly actions such as the bind I posted earlier, the quotes can be omited.

Hmmmmmm, from guides i have read the quotes are optional and are actually ignored by the system and are just used generally as seperators to make them more easily read.

I could be wrong though, am very much a NooB when it comes to binds and macros *Ducks in anticipation of being busted*

well you'd need the quotes for the bind i posted above, if you forgot them (which I have in the past) as soon as you press return, the dame will bind the key to flight, and you'll say "Up, up, and away!". leaving you to go "wth?" for a second before figuring out what you did wrong

Its underscores '_' that the system doesn't see.
