gah... pity, it would have been great getting both... my lvl 50 defender has Power Build Up because it increases all my powers, all my controllers have Psionic Mastery because of its protection against psionics, and my other 50s got the pool I considered it fitted best, either theme or previous powersets... BUT this time I was divided between improving my powers or getting some kind of resistance against psionics (as most of you may know, most high lvl AVs are psionics, so it would be very handy)... well, never mind, I'll have to toss a coin

Have never really felt let down by the Epics I have on my defenders, one has Elec and the other has Power. If I was picking just for sheilds it would either be Elec or Psi, as they give the best number to higher level content (IMO) while Elec also has a very nifty tool in powersink.
On my Cold/Dark defender I felt compelled to take Power just for powerboost and I haven't regretted it once. It does what I need it to and for team play it makes everyone else so safe that I dont really need to worry about shields

My 50 defender has Power Build Up, BUT when I noticed that Psychic Power had Mind Over Body it was a matter on putting in a balance either a better resistance for me, or a better way of protecting and healing my teammates. Now I know there's no choice, and having some respecs available, it's just a matter on playing the way I want the time I want.

Although I have several defenders, it was long ago since the 1st of them reached lvl 50 (it was, in fact, my very st 50... and now I have 12 lol!)... ehem... well, now I have a lvl 39 and a lvl 40 defenders (cold/ice, and rad/empath respectively) I was wondering whether it was possible to get powers from 2 different Ancillary Power Pools, as I'd like to get Mass Hypnosis and Mind Over Body from Psychic Mastery, and Power Build Up from Power Mastery... is that possible? I guess not, but as I said, I've been playing mainly controllers and scrappers in the last few months, so I have no clue actually about if this is possible. Any information would be much appreciated.
