It's an interesting idea. I've got a character(s) that I'm looking for a home for that would make a great lecturer. If you end up needing more students, then I've got a few characters that might fit in too.
I've played a bit with the MA, written the majority of an arc. Although I can't figure out exactly how I want it to end, so it's not been published yet .

Hello everyone!
About two years ago or so myself and a friend (Nuclear Zealot) ran a role-playing Super Group called the University of Paragon. Now, after a couple of years we have been inspired to re-create the role-playing community that we loved, but this time, with a whole load of new fun and creative ideas to make the experience enjoyable for all. However, to further achieve this we want -your- help! That's right, we want to welcome ideas from the community on how to improve the experience...
... BUT FIRST! I'll tell you a little about what we do:
What is the University of Paragon?
- The University of Paragon is a role-playing Super Group that takes place in the setting and theme of a University that is open to both natural/normal students as well as all forms of heroic entities. The super base is designed to reflect a super hero University.
What is their purpose?
- The University of Paragon, from an In-Character perspective aims to teach Super Heroes how to control and develop their super powers, and how they can be put to good use. This is via in character lessons, meetings, Architect training Missions, and street brawls amongst other things. We would also love to be able to bring a sense of community into it, inviting any and all who wish to give role-play a go, a chance to imagine and create individual ideas that will add to the Super Group itself.
- On an Out-Of-Character level the University of Paragon's objective is to create a fun and unique role-playing atmosphere and community, as well as an area to role-play inside the University. We also accept every range of role-playing ability, and thus accept 'weaker' role-players and offer guidance to help get them on what would, from a public perspective, be considered 'the right tracks'. Once we have enough members we will also run missions together.
What has the University got in store?
- We're still organising stuff at the moment, but we intend on organising terms with various activities including festive/seasonal events.
- We also want to put together a 'task force' within the University for those heroes which are battle able and want to learn in the field. This of course means that the leaders will be on hand to help in any way they can.
What does the University already include?
- As the Super Group has seemingly had active members for quite sometime, we gathered a lot of prestige and have used it to create quite a decent sized University with the following facilities:

- Throughout these facilities have been integrated the necessary player interactive items (EG workshops and teleports). If you would like a tour please ask in-game via one of our globals @Ollie Horsfall or @Vincent Valentino.
How can you get involved?
- Currently we have not opened recruitment, but to get an idea of who is interested, please feel free to reply. Once we open recruitment, for students all you need to do is send an IC tell to either @Ollie Horsfall or @Vincent Valentino, and an interview and tour will be arranged.
- We are currently looking for staff to help run the University. These people would need to be experienced and knowledgeable role-players, willing to dedicate time and effort into the super group. They would also be required to help less experienced role-players. The following positions are available:
[u]Task Master[u]
The Task Master's job is to train the students physically and prepare them for combat. He/she will be in charge of the Task Force and be required to elect members and arrange missions.
[u]Professors[u]
This position requires the member to be active and hold regular and interesting (and interactive) classes relevant to the topic. Also, occasional field trips would be ideal. A good knowledge of how to create missions on Architect would be considered valuable, but not necessary,
The following are required:
Professor of Technology
Professor of Mutation
Professor of Science
Professor of Magic
[u]Welfare Officer[u]
This individual would be required to help deal with any social problems within the University and resolve any complaints/grievances (both In-Character and to extents Out-Of-Character). Obviously anything major would then be escalated to the leaders who will also take care of these matters.

Do I have to join the Super Group to take part?
- Quite simply, no. If your super group leader is happy to create coalition then that's great! If not, or if you are not in a super group, contact can be made with an online member so you can be Team-ed so you may enter via the base portal.
- To keep in touch and involved, you will be able to join our forums which are under construction.
Do I have to be a student?
- Nope! You can be an Alumni, a graduated student, it means you get a say in some of the aspects of the university, basically like being on the Board of Governors. However you obviously have to be a student first. Ranks go from Freshman, Senior to Alumni.
- Don't want to be a student but want in on the action? Character too old/already mastered to be a student? Then you can apply to be a member of the University Guardians (protectors of the University).
