Wolf cut through the skies, landing on the other side of the tunnel on a rooftop. He grimaced behind his helmet as he saw the fire imps latched onto several of the cars, then caught sight of the fleeing thugs vehicle. Slowly and calmly he changed the Reddings magazine, intstead feeding in one chunky shell. A high powered, dedicated Sniper Round, one that could punch clean through a Rikti Chief's chest and out the other side. Taking careful aim and holding his breath, Wolf fired. If the shot connected, it would hopefully take out the cruisers window and neutralise one of the passengers. Even if it was lethal, Wolf was set on course.
Re-slinging the rifle, he leapt off the roof, jetting down to pull level with the rear pursuit vehicle. A blast of alpine cold air rushed over it, one that would, hopefully, take care of the fires. He jetted from vehicle to vehicle, repeating the process. He couldn't stop to see if it was effective or not; he had done for them what he could.
Pulling level with a Cruiser festooned with the leering fire imps, Wolf focussed the beam from his gauntlet. It would likely freeze the metal that it touched solid, but any imp caught in the blasts would be dropped to at least 0 degrees C. Careful to avoid the windows and tires, Wolf started attempting to pick of the fiery little bandits.

Fireballs bounced around Tinderspark from the passenger window. "Flame retardent, jack*ss! Hah!" He gloated.
His feet suddenly slipped from the bumper and started dragging along behind the vehicle again. "Ouch! Owowowowowow!!!"
He looked back at the police cruisers and shouted, "If you guys are gonna do something you better do it now!"
"We have clearance to shoot but you're in the way arsh*le!" yelled an officer in pursuit, readying his handgun for fire. Police aircraft now filled the skies, accompanied by unwanted media helicopters. Suddenly, a loud resounding noise ricocheted through the wind followed by the slicing whiz of a high-speed bullet. The assailant's windscreen shattered on impact, an explosion of blood and brain matter showered the interiors of the vehicle.
"HOLY SH*T!" screamed the driver, loosing control of the wheels, which then spun madly across the long stretch of Independence Port's main road before careening into a solid wall. The vehicle crumpled to unrecognizable lumps of metal before setting ablaze. Paramedics raced to the scene and found the driver strewn by the side of the road, unconscious but alive. The same couldn't be said for his headless partner in crime.
There was a hiss of jets, then a clank as power-armoured feet landed next to the vehicle. The flames choked out as a freezing gust siezed them.
"This is Wolf Hound to Hicks. One pyro down, the other in custody, over." Wolf slung the Redding over his shoulder, glancing around for Tinderspark briefly, before walking over to keep a tight eye on the surviving thug.

Tinderspark limped out of the flames, cluthing his arm.
He saw Wolf walking towards one of the thugs, unconscious.
He let out a cough and, putting his weight on his good leg, walked over the an ambulance to have one of the paramedics fix him up.
Lieutenant Hicks walked up to Wolf Hound and congratulated him on a job well done. He turned his attention to the perpetrator who was just coming to. "Hey fool!" yelled the lieutenant, pushing the man to sit up straight and holding his hands together as he produced his handcuffs. "You got the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against your stupid arsse in a court of law. You have the right to an attorney present during questioning. If you cannot afford an attorney, the city will provide you with the dumbest motherf*cker on the planet, dressed up as a lawyer. Do you understand the words that are coming outta my mouth?"
Waiting until the Lieutenant had slapped the cuffs on, Wolf leaned forward and clamped a hand on them. A second later he withdrew his gauntlet from the solid block of ice that encased the perps hands.
"Better safe than sorry," he said to Hicks with a nod, then wandered over to the medics.
"Hey," he said quietly, folding his arms as he stood behind Tinderspark. "That was brave, y'know. Rushed, but still brave."

"Stupid more like" I stepped out of the darkness, and walked up to the pair. "You got lucky"
"As for this guy and your better safe than sorry mentality? Not so lucky" And with that I punched the guy in the face; the shattering of his nose, the spurt of blood down his face and then slump of his now unconcious head.
"Have you recovered the stolen property? Or are you too busy admiring the fireworks you put on?"
"Recovery of what? The vehicle is on fire and it's gonna take a fire crew atleast 20 minutes to get out here.
So what do we do now?"
"I say them through the thermal goggles loading something into the trunk" said the lieutenant, watching the perpetrator as he was driven off into custody. "We'll take a look inside once the fire crew have done their work. I expect this has been worth a whole heap of experience to you people, that is what you guys chase around right? Experience? Either way, you folks did a fine job of it, on behalf of this city I'd like to thank you three."
A fireman marched down to the lieutenant, holding two large holdalls overflowing with green money and sparkling gold. "SWAT team confirmed the total at approximately sixty million in cash and gold, sir. Good thing the fire didn't reach the trunk, the area was probably protected by this fire-hero guy, good job man" he reported, turning the load in to the police and making his way back to his truck.
And like that. *Poof*
I was gone.
"He disappeared pretty quick...Well I guess I'll see you around Wolf, Lieutenant Hicks. Great job" Tinderspark handed the licence plate he still had in his hand to the Lieutenant, and walked away.
"You want me to hang around and help the team's doing the sweeping?" Wolf asked quietly, before chuckling for the first time that day. "Not as if I got anything better to do."

Most of the shots rebounded off the armoured cruiser, the punctured tyre flattened but quickly reinflated itself. As the vehicle sped into the tunnel, they lost line of sight with the marksmen. The palm of death re-emerged from the passenger window and lit on fire. With an enthusiastic tug, the assailant threw the fire towards the back off the car, trying to burn off the hero soldering himself down. With another twirl of his hand, he set the tunnel alight with animated flames. When they emerged onto Independence Port, a few of the pursuing police cars had caught fire and began to spin out of control. Three of the vehicles were under attack with what looked like animated imps of fire. The driver quickly glanced through his rear view mirror to check on the pursuing heroes. "Keep shooting fire at this guy on the trunk" he demanded, "kill him or I will!" he cried, withdrawing a rather large handgun. The fire-starter saw the handgun and frowned. "We got eight, maybe nine police cars chasing us righta'bout now, so if you' goin' help out, then do it! We got way too much heat on our tail."
