I find concepts are important so any info on the concept or anything simply on "how far you've got with the build" even if you start it not and give it 20 mins of slotting/looking at it'll help. For 20 mins work I wouldn't expect to see much but it's a start. You can be controllery, res based and def based especially as an idea on the primary could be useful too.

Prime is duel blades, i wouldn't mind a defency type char but the best i can get on mids is not good... grrrrr i hate inventions 
I have some semi-updated stuff about dark linked in my sig.
Plus DA is mostly res based, it might be possible to get quite high deff on one now. Use Steadfast +3% def all, Gladiator +3% def all, Combat jumping, weave, cloak of darkness and some very pricey set bonus's you might get there.
How ever and its a big however, it's a case of how gimped do you want you toon to be to achive high defence.
I've worked out I can get 20%ish mele, aoe & ranged without gimping, still retaining 55%+ rez to S/L dmg.
2nd question how much INF do you have?
inf not really a problem... i'm not planning this as an overnight thing
never played a /dark scrapper into double figures before but I have just thought of a good concept build and need some advice on what's skipable and slotting..
