Okay I am getting a bit annoyed now

For quite a while now, I have tried to get some sort of avatar back on my profile but despite uploading to photobucket. resizing and trying (oh lord trying) I STILL cannot get a pic to manifest itself it keeps saying 'improper picture type. yes it is, and it is within the allowed resolution too. anyone else with this

Being me... I can say that I have never encountered this problem.

I do know however that changing avatar here is a pain in the... neck.

Hey Mr ?, looks like the image you're using it just too big. Try resizing it down to the proper size (80x80 pixels).

Mine are usually 100x100 so that can't be it.
Perhaps big file size but *shrug* at that aswell.

There are pics there that were my avatar once, (head and shoulders of Mr ? and the cat with the machine gun)
I have even resized some to 75x75 and still no joy.

If you look at the URL of your avatar - you will notice it is being served up by Imageshack's PHP engine.
Can you try changing the url to point directly at the image instead in a similar manner to FFMs one which is also on Imageshack.

Thank you all, rehosting on imageshack and a bit of playing around got this old pic of me at 12 that has recently surfaced.

Thank you, a bit of persistence, it keeps saying it fails to load but a check back and its there.
