It's like Fiery Aura - it demands an aggressive kill-it-before-it-kills-you playstyle, providing you with a damage buffing taunt aura and a 20 foot radius soft-nuke attack. What it is not, and was never meant to be, is Super Reflexes.

[/ QUOTE ]The introduction of Merits did impact the market greatly, due to the introduction of the ability to trade Merits for specific recipes you want - this has killed the former steady supply of Random Recipes which people used to put up on the market if they didn't need them. The currently existing Random Roll option for Merits is underused, because a lot of people (I'm not going to say "most" because I can't back that up) prefer getting exactly what they want, as opposed to a gamble.

Day jobs/Patrol XP: Yes, it's either +50% XP or cancellation of debt if any. Rate is 1 bar/24 h or so I belive. So 1 day offline either clears 1 bar of debt or provides you with 50% of that bar's XP for free. Also if you get any debt whiile still having Patrol XP, it's used to pay debt first. Debt paid with PXP either on or offline counts towards debt badges.
As for specific locations badges/bonuses, well, most are o0nly useful if you don't play that character for a very long while. (then again, some of them, like tailor discounts and most accolades have charges instead of set durations, they're a bit more worthwhile.) Also, some titles are cool like "black ops" for villains

Day jobs - They seem like another 'shiny thing' to collect, but not essential. Although the rested xp (+50% bonus?) was a nice surprise. I reckon I've pretty much burned up my ~ 2 levels worth now

I must say one thing though, it's nice to play a game where people actually talk when teaming, that and the fact that we have friendly forums too.
