If you're asking because of minion resistances, the damage your minions take from Bodyguard shares cannot be further resisted, the only thing that'll reduce the original damage is your own resistance. It counts as untyped damage dealt by yourself, I think.

How can you forget - when it's written here in a question you originally asked? 
Just sitting here playing my MM and suddenly thought of a question...I know that damage while in BG mode is spread between you and your minions, but does it do the same type damage. For example I get hit by a single target fire attack, do my minions also suffer fire damage?
