or with external buffs - there was no need for Elude when I tanked Ice Mistral on my SR Scrapper - with 2 bubblers on the team I hit hard cap without it.

They didn't fail to notice anything...
1: learn to slot shields.
2: shield have actually one of the highest def debuff resistances of all sets, only super reflex is higher.
