All cozzie bits available to view

I'm all for leaving the unlockable/buyable bits as they are. But lacking any power of imagination it would be handy when in the cozzie creator to see, as I'm designing a cozzie, whether or not my overall design requires specific capes/weapons etc.

Perhaps on the cozzie creator have the locked pieces greyed out yet selectable. If you attempt to enter the city with a greyed out piece it becomes highlighted on the menu?

I'm sure there are better ways of setting it up. It's the end result I'm after.

Do you mean being able to see costume parts that you *don't* have access to, grey out, so that you know they are obtainable, you just have yet to acquire them?

Yes.

However I /unsign as I like to be surprised when I unlock something new.

I have to agree - I prefer 'earning' them and having a longer list than those who haven't ;o)

I suppose that could be useful if you wanted to use it so that you could see everything that can be unlocked...I meant more so I could design my cozzie in full.

I've designed cozzies in the past where I intended on using a cape. I hit 20, get the cape and it looks rubbish. So I end up just leaving it as it doesn't fit the look.

Just change the cozzie I hear you cry. The cozzie, the name and the bio all go together. It's too late, that's my signature.

I would simply like to plan from the word go what my hero will look like by the time I get all the bits for said cozzie.

How much of a surprise can it really be? You must have seen all cozzie bits by now

I like the current system as it is. I think of a level 1 toon as someone who is in the beginning of a long exciting carrier, and while I have have ideas about my new toon's final style, I want the style to mature as I unlock new parts.

In addition, the knowledge that there might be something new to discover/unlock is something that encourage people to keep the interest up for a longer time.

However, if a feature for viewing unlocked costume parts is a very popular request, I suggest it as a vet reward, like around 12 months or so, because I think the "there might be something more" factor is most important in second half of the first year.

i suggest that we be able to see but not access some cozzie bits from the outset (capes, auras etc) and noone is interested yet in that other thread someone says they want access to an aura from level one and everyone agrees!

you lot are weird.

i think that there are some fantastic unlockable bits that we don't see enough of because when finally unlocked they end up on 'the other cozzie' as they don't fit the theme.

i quite liked that idea of being able to view all pieces as a vet reward. i'd be happy with that.

Halos are a completely different story. Sub-30 characters are going through the farce of working up the candy canes in order to unlock the Halos, only to find that, unlike the cyborg pack Combat Auras that were recently adjusted to become available pre-30, they STILL have to work their way up to Level 30 to actually use them, which is frankly a royal boot to the face. With footballer's boots. Laced with hydrochloric acid.

The Halo suggestion is more an issue of unlock conditions, and has nothing to do with this suggestion, which - to be honest - I'm pretty "meh" about. I don't really plan out costumes to use pieces I don't have access to and it'd make getting them feel more of a grind than they need to be if I were allowed to view them before unlocking.

Yes, in game effort.
The Halo 'auras' are unlockable at lvl 1. As are the veteran capes, and combat auras. The other two are available, while the Halo isnt, which most people consider unfair.

As for the review build...I like the idea. Tbh, it would be nice if such a thing existed, even if out of game, like Mids Hero builder for powers, for those that want it.
The problem is, that wont happen. The reason being, Marvel have NC in a bit of headlock when it comes to copyright, afaik. So, unfortunately, it probably wont happen.

/signed for idea though.
But seriously, insulting other peole wont go down well.

Yes, oh god yes!
Implement this idea now!
Just don't have the locked bits greyed out on the character but only in the menu as it would be nice to see it with the right colours and such.
