SG Tailor
Well obviously the SG leader has to make costumes for all 3 bodytypes. I assume that set would then be stored as a partial costume file.
Your solution would still be an improvement over the current system of making sg costumes. It however still got the problem of people (like me) who will be very very reluctant to sacrifice one of their costume slots for an SG cossie.
I would have to question your commitment to a SG if your unwilling to commit 1 out of 5 costumes to a SG but your quite happy to use a special 6th SG costume slot.
I wonder how many who think this is a great idea would actually use the costume as a SG costume if it was implemented and how many would treat it as just a costume. The way i see it is if you want a SG costume that much your gonna be willing to set aside o1 out of 5 slots to have a SG costume
I have been in and seen to many SG's die to make such a commitment anymore.
I don't, and if any SG tried to enforce a policy of telling me how to play my game or dress my characters, I'd leave it.

Proof that SGs are all very different, and that players are all looking for different things.

Very true, however, consider the following.
Perhaps an SG leader designs a costume with a dress for women, and a suit of some description for men (and huge). That's two totally different component sets, with the theme likely linked around pattern and colour scheme.
That would be fairly complex to do via an interface, and trivial to do via a list of written components.
What might actually be simpler and of more generic use, would be the ability to save partial costume files, and to merge those into an existing slot.
