"The account name blah blah is incorrect??riiight

Ah same old same old, last time i played this game was in I6 and now it won't let me in! just created a trial account and successfully solved the 'crashing login screen' mission ..Now Baffled as to how I'm meant to log in! "username and or password incorrect." quadruple checked and out of ideas. Please help juxtasposed121@yahoo.co.uk

Check to see if the updater is for the American or the Euro version - the correct one for you should say CohUpdater.EU.exe - if it doesn't have the EU part, then it emans you've downlaoded the American one by mistake, so you'll need to change it's name to include the EU part.

right click on updater which did already say CohUpdater.EU. and extract files to cohupdater.EU lol, stranger things have happened i guess. thanks for pointing me in the right direction

Also make sure the shortcut you're using - if you use a shortcut - is pointing to the correct updater. If you installed from the downloaded client it will likely have created a shortcut that excludes the .EU part of the launcher filename and will therefore launch to the US servers.

You can either edit the shortcut via it's properties panel, or right-click the correct updater file to create a new shortcut.
