Well they do i guess you must have just missed the events they have been to, they dont do this kind of thing on the live servers only on test.

And that's why there should be GM events on the live servers.
Maybe even a visit from a dev like BAB or War Witch. Most of us couldn't attend Omega Sektor MiniCon and so we missed War Witch.
