That's right people... Rattus Rattus has developed a distinct whiff.

I don't know who else has noticed this but EVERY SINGLE enhancement drop I've had from ToTing has been Technology in Origin.

Across all my toons

Without exception

I've been ToTing every night since the event started (with the exception of saturday) and this is clearly not coincidental

Ok so maybe that's not terribly wrong in and of itself except that the drops from ToTing are (or at least should be) magic in origin.

We know several things about this event so I present the following evidence and lead you to draw your own conclusion:

The Devs are infallible. This is clearly meant to be.

Ghosts (and to a lesser extent Vampyres) are clearly not appearing as frequently as we'd like.

What's behind this dastardly happening? It couldn't be a N _ _ _ S _ _ _L _ _ could it?

I can't for the life of me find a post exactly outlining the details of the Halloween event but I seem to remember that it was set for ToT mobs to drop only Tech enhancements.

It struck me as odd at the time too, but I'm sure it's WAI.

Edit:

Also about the Spirits;

Low Spirit Spawn: In reading through feedback and playing the event we've seen comments about the relatively low spawn rate of Spirit NPCs during Trick or Treating. In investigating this, it looks to be a bug with how those NPCs are being spawned. Unfortunately, we won't be able to correct the issue before the event is over, so at this time we can only make you aware of the issue and apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Sounds like a smokescreen to me... don't believe anything the Devs tell you.

I always figured the low spawn rates were a teaser for next years event... keep 'em coming back even for a month or two.

Cynical? Never!

And why Tech? If what you say is true then what's the logic behind it? Tech is one of the lowest origin toons out there IIRC, but there's not much significance to origina anyhow so what does it matter? Unless there's a plot line in there?

Rather annoying about the Spirits, having only just managed to get the Buster badge on my Spines/Dark Scrapper; tis lucky I managed to get them on the toons I care about badging with last year.

It's not limited to ToTing, the zombie waves also only drop Tech enhancements.

As for what to believe, and what not to, see my sig.

I thought it had been agreed upon,, in the other topic, that it was Doc V and his power-leveling minions that was pulling the strings, and not Mr N. (or was that a Mr N plot as well?)

Anyway if tech has the smallest number of characters of the origins, them that could be a reason to make the event enhancements tech. You know for the sake of balance and such.

On the bright side, you can offload all your ToT enhancements in one shop without losing any money. Result!

Well now that Ouroboros is up and running it's pretty simple to offload there anyhow
