Post your basic PC specs and i'm sure someone could give you a hand in getting you back in-game

Firstly, Nariya, Welcome to the forum!
Secondly, yes, as Rent says, let us know your PC spec and Operating System, and we (well, FFM most likely) will try to help.
As a temporary measure and possible solution, though - start the game in Safe Mode (a tick box on the same screen as the EULA that you agree to when you start the game client), and slowly start increasing the video settings in the game. That might show you what is causing the crash.

As Shadowe says, first thing to try is check the "Safe Mode" option in the updater and see if that helps. Another thing to try is your graphics drivers. Have you recently updated these? If now, please try doing so.
Are you running any extra programs in the background, such as Stardock's Windowsblinds (which is known to have problems with CoH).

I opened the comp and vaccumed the fan. After that I could log in, move around but when i joined a team and entered the mish it froze just when I got into the mish. But flying to the mish was no problem.
I started the game in Safe Mode just now. And it froze before I could increase the graphics.
I dont run any programs in the background.
Hmmm... I've personally come across something similar to this with a friends computer.
Is there a noise your computer makes when it freezes? A click or the sound of a fan speeding up/slowing down?

the_rent: No specific sound when it freezes. But a specific red dots/lines when it has frozen.
FloatingFatMan: I just updated the graphics drivers but it froze when I was on the screen where I choose what alt to play.
Just now my husband tried to open google earth and when he zoomed in on the map it froze and the same red dots/lines appeared. To me (who know nothing about comps) it suggests that the graphics card isnt working and needs to be replaced?
It sounds like you either have a faulty video card OR, you're suffering from an overheating problem, possibly due to faulty fans.
If you or your husband aren't up on diagnosing and fixing PC problems, you might need to contact a local PC store; but if possible, do NOT take it to PC World. They'll charge you an arm and a leg, tell you it's dead, and try to sell you a new one. They'll also erase your hard drive. Take it to a proper computer store if you can.

Well with it happening with a program like Google earth i'd hazard a guess with it being a lack of power issue not a graphics issue.
When you vaccumed the fans did you also clean the power supply one?

I was playing and in the middle of a fight the comp froze. I had to restart the comp and since then everytime I log on it freezes. I even uninstalled and installed it again and the problem persists. The comp can run another game and I can watch movies and go on the internet. Everything seems to work except CoH. Does anyone know what could be wrong? Or how I can find out what is wrong?
