the_rent: No specific sound when it freezes. But a specific red dots/lines when it has frozen.

FloatingFatMan: I just updated the graphics drivers but it froze when I was on the screen where I choose what alt to play.

Just now my husband tried to open google earth and when he zoomed in on the map it froze and the same red dots/lines appeared. To me (who know nothing about comps) it suggests that the graphics card isnt working and needs to be replaced?

I started the game in Safe Mode just now. And it froze before I could increase the graphics.

I dont run any programs in the background.

I opened the comp and vaccumed the fan. After that I could log in, move around but when i joined a team and entered the mish it froze just when I got into the mish. But flying to the mish was no problem.

I was playing and in the middle of a fight the comp froze. I had to restart the comp and since then everytime I log on it freezes. I even uninstalled and installed it again and the problem persists. The comp can run another game and I can watch movies and go on the internet. Everything seems to work except CoH. Does anyone know what could be wrong? Or how I can find out what is wrong?
