MasterMode stumbled with each hit before Coms bot landed a full force smack to it's chest plate sending it backwards and bonucing off it's "father's" sheild.
Which in turn made Assasion stumble back a little due to the impact on the sheild. Regainning his balance and glaring back at those attacking his family he raised up his metal hand and let of a force blot like that the bots use towards Coms bot, then at Molly, Sean, and and Rik while yelling "You idiots leave them alone!"
Sean jumped out of the way of the bolt before reaching into his belt compartment and the back and pulling out a small disc from it.
"Hey Assie.. allow me to show you a brand new piece of tech I got.." Sean shouted before throwing the disc at the sheild around Assasion.
The disc seem to attach onto the sheild at least appear to, before it glowed brightly and sent out a pulse of charged energy into the sheild.
"..It's a Sheild breaker.. hope you like it." Sean called ducking another incoming bolt.
With that the Sheild around Assasion seem to flicker before the disc fell to the ground, while the sheild broke down and disappeared.
"AARRGGHH!!" Assasion called out has he sent off another barrage of force bolt blasts.
While that happend Cyber-widow became a punching bag as Rik's blows landed on their target, before finally she became movtionless and appeared to be dead.
Molly wasn't too sure whether to consider herself lucky or unlucky when the force bolt slammed off her rifle, sending the girl airborne for a split second before she crashed down onto the floor.
"...Ow..." she groaned as she her eyes flickered a few random colours. "That's... kinda no way for a host to greet his guests!" From Molly's point of view those random colours were her heads-up display, taking a moment to reform and pick up on Assasion's scream, and then the oncoming barrage. Molly quickly grabbed her rifle and set her rocket boots away, sliding her back along the floor and hopefully out of the path of the force bolts.
"Hey, you know something?" The genius then piped up as she raised her rifle and aimed for Assasion's shoulder, still down on the floor. It wasn't her place to kill, a shoulder shot should take him down just fine. "This party's been pretty lousy, good thing it's over... right... about..."
A few red spots started linking on Molly's HUD, a sign that those few red blocks were just about out of juice. Molly needed to take a shot and fast if she was going to blast Assasion like a sheet of paper - hopefully.
"...NOW!" Molly pulled the trigger just in time, sending a single snipe round hurtling toward Assasion at far greater speed than the norm, a red trail tracing the bullet's path for a brief moment.
Sam: "My mind is a swirling miasma of scintillating thoughts and turgid ideas."
Max: "Me too."

As soon as the shield died, Red Commissar still cloaked by now his movements blurring the air around him quickly edged towards the cells his back against the steel bulkhead walls of the room unshoulding his assault rifle and quickly adjusting his barrel to fire the clip of AP bullets he had just inserted into said AR, glancing down the barrel of his cloaked gun he immediatly begin to fire a loose arc of covering fire at all targets as he edged closer and closer to the objective.
The sniper round from Molly's gun trail faded away, the bullets route was clear to see. It had stuck it's mark and hit Assasions shoulder dead center, again he yelled but this time was more pain than anger and his blaster arm fell limp.
The hole clear to see in it had gone right through the shoulder, showing that it was more tech than flesh. The odd sparks came from it has it began to bleed with the pale mix of blood and rust colour oil. Assasion glared at Molly for a moment though the pain the wound was causing him, snaring he spoke "You girl shall pay for harming me.." with those words coming from his lips he lifted up his other hand the sleeve of his jacket seem to roll up by it's self to show a metal panel on his arm which opened up and deployed a tiny rocket.
The rocket had a clear body part which was filled with a green gas, he held his arm up to aim it at Molly before grinning "..this will end your misable life and rid me of you in the same momment." His words rang out has Coms bot glanced away from battling with MasterMode, only to call out the words "Miss Molly that is the acid metal gas mix from the Freakshow attack."
Sean quickly deployed his wirst blades and powered them up, making each one glow blue from the center bar in them ((build up and shortly claws ranged attack which I forget the name for)).
Reds bullets seem to hit their marks mostly hitting MasterMode and the disabled Cyber-Widow.
Rik , never one to take a unnessary risk ,made sure Cyber-Widow was truely out of it , by using Mr Lumps and his fists to seperate her head from body ....tucking it under his left arm ..
then hearing Coms words about acid and gas Rik removed the heat from the area ((freezing Rain)) , and re-routed the air back towards Assasion (( gale )) ....
"Time for a sharp exit, I think!" Molly yelled as she fired off her boots again, letting off a few spray-and-pray bursts at Assasion as she slid backward along the floor.

With Assasion being suddenly hit by the rush of air his arm moved as he tired to steady it again. Before he could a floor panel ripped up and stuck his arm upwards, blown up by the wind, causing the mini rocket to jam in his arm.
Sean took that moment to drop down on one knee and send off a wave of energy from his blades ((Focus)) at Assasion's kneecaps, Forcing him to stumble a drop to the ground Sean moved in quickly a grabbed him by the neck using the suit exoselekton to raise him back up.
"You lose Assasion." Sean snared at him in voice filled with anger.
"Seean..." Assasion grasped as he managed to just tilt his head to look into Seans visor, "..You still don't win."
"This time your not going to run and hide.. no escape this time." Sean said raising him up higher so MasterMode could see him.
"Father!" MasterMode shouted as a another smack landed into the cyborg's side from Comsbot.
Sean deployed his blade on his free hand and pulled his arm back ready to strike it into his foe's body, however something suddenly made him drop Assasion to the floor and step back from him, muttering "No.. that would mae me no better than you."
Assasion grabbed his neck and rubbed it before speaking the words, "Your still weak Sean..you never could deliver the final blow." A evil grin crossed his lips.
"Im.. I won't kill you.. Im going to make you waste way your days in jail.. But im not Going to give you the joy of death.." Sean said before suddenly glaring over to a newly open door on the right side of the room.
There shimmering into view was Infinitron, his helmet missing and the scarred right eye clear for those there to see.
Taking a two steps into the room he raised up his rifle and uttered the words "..But I will.", with those words he fired a single round into Assasions head, the round past out the other side of Assasions head in a end straight line, enbedding it's self in the far left wall leaving Assasion to drop lifelessly to the floor in a pool of blood. Sean managed to look in horror has the whole thing happen and Inf glanced quickly to those there then without a single word shimmered back out of sight again as he turned back out the door putting his rifle in it's rightful place on his back.
Rik again move inhumanly fast a grabbed Assasions body ..a complete check ((including a sneaky breaking of a few vitals )) for any signs of life where made . . " now dont you see Sean , i told you at the start of all this ..kill them .." Rik turned his gaze on to MasterMode ...Mr Lumps eyeless head followed Rik's
As Infinitron shimmered out of view again, his voice could be heard to drone out,
"Mercy is for the weak, you will learn this soon enough".
As all the doors in the room slid open at once, the noise of rocket boots igniting was heard; and a gust of wind ripped round as the invisible Infinitron blasted out.
Molly hopped to her feet and rushed over to Assasion, cringing as she approached.
"Well, that was totally unnecessary..." Molly muttered as she looked over the corpse.
Sam: "My mind is a swirling miasma of scintillating thoughts and turgid ideas."
Max: "Me too."

MasterMode took the brief stop of attack to make it's move, running for the throne up the steps it tapped a small button on the arm control panel. With that the chair began to raise upwards and a iris hatch opened in the ceiling above it.
"You will all pay for the death of our great lord." Mastermode snared as he and the chair raised upwards and then out of sight through the hatch.
With that the whole place began to shake and seem to virate has another pressure change was felt, before a few ceiling wires fell to the floor, and a red siren light and whirling beeping sounded.
"People.. quickly get Gem and tim.. then get out of here.." Sean shouted snapping to his senses and running towards where the chair was once, before looking up at the hatchway.
"I got to see if theres a way to give you more time.."
Comsbot moved quickly towards where Red was near the two cells, grabbing hold of one set of bars and benting them apart so he could reach where Gemme was laying.
The other held Tim wired upto the machine which seem to be losing it's power and starting to flicker a small screen just below where Tim was wired directly into it.
Halfway down the room was the control panels Assasion had used to release his two family members from their pods, which the pods themselves had fallen to the ground and smashed due to the shaking. The control panels seem to be just like that of the controls in the pod room, and another set were behind where Sean now stood looking up at the hatchway.
((Ok people only a little left, the Escape of the team, and Hostages.))
Rik move up to Comms , " ill take her , you do that bending trick on Tims's Cell and un link him ..your techy .."
Molly staggered about for a moment before eventually giving up, keeping herself in the air instead.
"You know, it would be nice if we had means for a sharp exit!"
Sam: "My mind is a swirling miasma of scintillating thoughts and turgid ideas."
Max: "Me too."

"Grab a hold of me!" shouted Next Dimension, before exploding in a blast of light, transforming into the hulking mass that was dwarf form. Beckoning the group towards him, he prepared to teleport those he could.
Red Commissar glanced over the bloody corpse of Assassion and his followers and shrugged, shouldering his rifle he ran over to help the others extract Tim from whatever the strange device was.
" i will find my own way home thanks " Rik shouted ..leaving Gemme in Seans'care he tucked Cyber-Widows head under his left arm ..and picking up Assasions body by the neck with his right Rik wandered out of sight deeper into the ship ...
Sean glanced over then tapped a button on his blade wirtbands of the suit, suddenly a small jump pack thusters popped out of the back of the suit. As they fired up and sent him upwards towards the hatch he shouted out on the radio "People get out of here im going after Mastermode... alone." with that he crashed his way through the hatch with his blades takeing the blunt of the impact. The impact sent bits of the hatch falling to the ground as Sean disappeared into the hatch.
Coms nodded then went over to the machine holding Tim, with a quick glance over it, he speedy removed the wires and panels from the machine, so quickly that his hands became a blurr at one point as a pile of machine parts lay behind him. Once Tim was free from the machine he stepped back over to Gemme and pulled the wires out from her left arm carefully before lifting her over his cold metal shoulder bars.
"Will someone please grab Mr Skippton, I have Miss Gemme." Comsbot said looking over at the drawf form and walking towards it.
The Dwarf form of Next Dimension stomped forward, lifting its arms for everyone to grab hold of, as it grunted impatiently and began to glow a little brighter.
Comsbot got to the Dwarf form of Next Dimension and gently lifted Gemme off its shoulder parts before laying her up against the one he hoped would take her to safety. Turning about and looking to see if someone was grabbing Timothy.
"Unless you want me to grab him of course?" Comsbot said glancing to the rest of them then towards where Rik had gone to.
Meanwhile..
Sean came up the tunnel as fast as the pack could take him, behind him the walls of the tunnel came falling in, before ahead of him he could make out yet another hatch iris door which looked as it had been already forced open. Shooting out of it he grabbed hold of a pipe which was hanging down just above the front of the hatch, and glanced about saw that he had came out in the control room for the whole Fortress complex, however it now was empty of bots and there was no sign of Mastermode.
From where he was there to his left just off the small platform the hatch was on, was a pile of chairs and the remains of the rest of the pipe work, to his right he could see tthree desks one which was dircertly infront of him was pulled to one side which the others on his lefthand side were trashed and turned over. Behind him as he dropped down from the ppe which fell suddenly behind once he let it go into the tunnel hatch, was two doors which appeared to make one much larger door. At the very front of the room was a larger window screen showing that the place seem to be falling out from the sky as the clouds rushed by before the whole place seem to tip forwards to show the eirey view of where it could crash land: Paragon City.
"Woah... ok.. please let these things still work.. please." Sean muttered rushing over to one of the working control station desk and tapping away on it's keyboard.
Grabbing both Gemme and Timothy, the Dwarf form grunted once more, and with a bright flash, he, the two victims and anyone holding onto the dwarf were gone.
Materialising in the street, the Dwarf form glanced around to get its bearings, and looked up to see the fortress plummeting towards the ground. Scooping up the two victims once more, but leaving any heroes who had ported with him, he burst into light and vanished once more.
Materialising again, this time in Atlas Park hospital, the sudden appearance of a 8 foot tall Kheldian caused mild panic, and people rushed to help with the two people he carried.
At the very moment Sean started to struggle with the controls , the combined mass of Rik ,Mr Lumps , Assasions body and Cyber-Widows head , disappeared from the flying base , by sheer fluke , a million to one chance , this change in total mass of the base provided Sean with the extra 0.149932781 seconds he needed to figure out the controls .....oddly, for those who study such odds this amount of time gained by Sean means that Rik and the other contributors to the mass , did not appear on the planet Earth ,as the total mass of the planet did not increase , which would have given Sean 0.00000000001 seconds less time to save the day .
Sean tapped away as fast as he could with the bulky fingers of the suits gloves, which every so often meant he had to retype in the last few keys as the fingers had hit a few keys at once. Suddenly the displayed what he wanted the others were off and so was a few extra pounds of weight, this along with the contorls infront of him lighting up meant he had regained some limited control over the rapid falling Fortress craft which was still heading downwards into the heart of Paragon City.
Sean moved quickly to grab the controls and twist the sticks as hard as he could backwards and to the right slightly. Ahead of him the window showed the angle change slowly as the massive structure began to move off course.
Below the city caught it's first glimpse of the Fortress which had been hovering over head it for months, and the droning whirl and explosions from it as it now came apart as it screamed over head. It's speed was clear to see as it smashed to bit the Longbow Chaser Sean had used to board it, it also smashed it's way through a tower blocks steples spire sending the reminds and parts of the damage of the fortress falling and collapsing downwards to the streets below. It's impact had done what Sean couldn't: move the Fortress to the right angle, it's course now had it heading out to sea.
Sean glanced up to see the window ahead of him turn to blue, as the ocean came into view.
"Phew.. right time to get outta here." Sean muttered as he let out of the controls.
Suddenly the whole place shifted and began to head upwards at a steep rate, the engines had suddenly bursted back into life and now sent it upwards, spinning suddenly as the left side ones gave up the ghost.
"Woah!!" Sean shouted as he almost lost his balance, managing to regain it quickly again to notice a small Tronoz Drone suddenly fly past him and stop.
"Must get the engines back online.. must get power restored.. transwarp fold to engineering sector.." the Drone mumbled as it began to glow.
Sean took the moment to unclip his left small EXG core from his glove and throw it at the drone, after pressing it's center. The core magneticaly attached onto the rear of the Drone as it vanished in a flash of light.
"Thats that done now for this one." Sean murmured as he unclipped the right core and stuck it to the wall behind him.
Looking to the window he threw a seat to it from next of him at it to smash it open, letting in the rush of air from the outside into the room he readied himself to leap out of the window.
"Let's hope this mode works.. other wise i'll be fish paste." Sean muttered tapping the center of the core behind him before running full speed at the hole he had made in the window and jumping out of it.
Sean flew out of it into the air, his jetpack activating to send him away from the rapidly raising Fortress before two large explosions rocked it, one at it's rear and the other from where Sean had jumped from, this sent the Fortress spiraling downwards behind him, and crashing into the sea.
Sean however went the other way towards the shore, grabbing hold of a joystick control he lifted it up and forwards to lock the jetpack wings into his back and using his suit bots to act like a tail, like a missile he clipped his hands together tiggering for the last time the blades to deploy and make his Re-entry mode of the suit.
The now torpedo shape of him flew quickly through the air and his angle sent him shoring towards a river that connected to the sea near to Talos Island, as he hit the water the impact ripped the suit to bits and sent him hurling down the river under the water and sending him slamming into the bank.
The only trace of his landing was the bits of his suit left floating down the river, leading to him.
(( would like to thank all those who have taken part in this, and all those who have taken the time to read it. Hope everyone enjoyed this as much as I did, the effects of this plotline are already being felt in the gameworld and a new group shall soon raise up as a result.

Molly reacted quickly, letting off a few bursts on sight of Mastermode's flickering cloak as she sidestepped around his last known position carefully. For a split second, the pink-clad genuis glanced up at Cyber-widow and smirked before returning her attention to finding Mastermode again.
