So - paragron wiki says:
"Heroes can make progress on this badge by defeating the version of Lord Recluse found on the Peregrine Island Safeguard (as of Issue 9) or on the Mender Silos Task Force (as of Issue 11)."
Can anyone confirm this?

Scorpion's Suprise is rewarded to villains fighting Lord Recluse, in their Patron arc, while in SG mode. Heroes get some Rikti Plasma Turret(I think) instead of this.
Edit: Just checked Badge Hunters, It is a Rikti Plasma Turret earned by defeating Lanaru the Mad 5 times in sg mode.
Yeah, I could've corrected you on that one. It's rewarded... it's just a bit weird since you can take on LR in so many places

The main bit of what hes saying is its only villains can get it. It dont matter how many times heroes kill recluse or where.
Heroes get an equivelent.
I'm not convinced of that at all - my Super Group badge list has the badge bar listed, and we're 40% of the way through it - suggesting that two kills have been made, and three more are needed.
It is available to heroes, therefore. Just not through STF.

Well, this weekend we're running the Meder Silos TF, to see if beating recluse there, works.
If it doesn't, then we'll try police band/bank raids. I'll keep you posted.

i doubt it will for a hero base as villians cant nlock the rikti turret thing they get but no harm in trying if nothing else it earns plenty prestige

have just confirmed that progress can be made on this badge by Hero's, single man SG's can use Ouroboros Portal to exit the mission after defeating Recluse, then a quick logout / login resets the mission for another crack!

Nice one, it is horribly heavy on power consumtion and has a really slow recharge, but you can attatch 10 aux items to it
Ok, so, Scorpion's Surprise is clearly *not* activated / earned by completing Statesman's Task Force in SG mode, as my SG discovered last night. This, I found surprising. So - that leaves only one question - how do you unlock this badge? Is it by:
a) Taking down Lord Recluse in Bank Missions (if/when he generates as the AV?)
OR
b) Taking him on during Mender Silo's TF (do you fight him here? It's the one TF I've never done...)
If (a), then is there a surefire way to get him to appear? I've tried a few approachs (full team of 8, full team of 8 on invincibile) and nothing seems to work. However, I've run into him on one by accident before - can't for the life of me work out the specifics, though!
