Purple drop at lvl 34?

Hey there Forumites

Would like a bit of clarification on how purples drop, i understand from reading the forums here and in the us that any mob that has the capability of dropping a lvl 50 enhancement also has the possibility of dropping a purple.

However about 5 mins ago during an invasion in sharkhead i decided to take out a few bombs and fight a few rikti on my lonesome. Thing is the recipes that dropped for me were at lvl 50, a few accuracy, damage etc but also a bit from the gravitational anchor set.

Reading back through my logs that particular bit dropped from an A-Bomb, As i understood it the rikti scale to the same lvl as the attacker in the same way that GM's do. Is this different with the A-Bombs?

Please note that this is in no way a complaint Just got me thinking.

Im not sure how it works but I involved in an invasion yesterday at Kings Row with my lvl 7 troller and because her damage was a quite low all I did was confuse and blind foes and put shields up for my team. However at the end of it Ive ended up with 3 lvl 30 recipes!

Again Im not complaining as they will sell for a little bit of inf but like you got me thinking

Rikti invasions should afaik drop lvl 30s although bet everyone loved you for getting a purple in an invasion as much as they loved me getting one from a Mothership Raid

They were definitely dropping lvl 50 common IO recipies yesterday in Cap rather than the lvl 30 ones they have in the past. I also got one set one at lvl 49.
As I had just cleared my recipies before the invasion hit they could only have come from it.

Yeah I noticed after an invasion in Atlas a couple of days ago that I got lvl 34 recipes - if the mobs scale to suit level surely a lvl 50 tank should get lvl 50 recipes???
