(Thread title correction) respeccing powersets
ok, this thread is well old (2005) and geko no longer works for NCsoft/Cryptic AFAIK.
Respecs that allow you to change powersets have beens uggested and denied by everyone lots of times. They WILL NOT happen. if you want to try a new powerset you'll have to re-roll a new character. Just choose another primary and it'll play slightly different.

Oh... hehe, than maybe close the thread?!
Thanks anyway for the fast answer!

Or better still just close the section entirely given the time and effort the US devs spend on their forums compared to ours this really just takes the [censored]
The last post other than this seems to be around July (just quick check of front face so don't quote me) sorry my mistake that's just the pinned threads it seems some people do still enter this dusty, web ridden, corner of our forums, why I'm not sure, I find it hard to beleive a real red name has visited here in years and if they did obviously managing to string a sentence together was just too much to ask!!!

Maybe if certain elements were less bitter about the dev's not posting on the EU forums then we mite see more activity from them this side of the pond as it is would you post some where your liable to get flamed and blamed for everything that is wrong in the game.
Also have you looked at when the Devs post very often there posts are made early morning or late at night so unless they work strange hours there doing it in there free time.
Castle has posted about this. there is no technical reason it couldn't be done, but as far as Norcal are concerned giving people less incentive to play alts would be economically shooting themselves in the foot (or the head, more likely).
I really should do something about this signature.
I'd like to see the ability at 50 to unlock some sort of character of the same AT as you but starting at 14 or 20.... and yeah its been suggested before.
[Edit by GR: This was originally posted in a Dev corner thread and subsequently split off.]
I hope, this is the correct thread...
Well, my problem with the new Architect Patch is, that i play a supporting Mastermind. I took as sec power set dark miasma (because of the heal und ress power) and the healing pool set. If the new power set pain domination has both and if it´s more effective than the healing pool power (which is quiet probable) it would be a good power for my char. But because it´s a sec power set and not a pool power i won´t be able to get it unless i start with a whole new char (which also would be a healer mm, which would be no fun playing it twice).
For all the players who tried to make a healer (corrupter and mastermin), it would be very helpfull, if they were allowed to change their sec power set to pain domination instead of starting a new healer char.
