i dunno, but it happens to me a lot. I just ignore it and continue playing
If you don't keep a character logged in for more than five minutes, that's when what you're talking about happens.

Well, like I said. It doesn't stop anything from working, but with my ex-government test manager's hat on, it's still a bug... Well... A bugette

It's a known bug... I've had it as well 
hmm.. this isn't right...
I /BUGged it at the time.
It's a silly thing, but I logged in, took a character out logged out to desktop then logged back in again a few minutes later and got this:

I know we can do time-travel, but 136 years offline?
