Just wondering if they are actually PvP'able... with there low def/Resist.. low hit points... only 6.0Mez protection.. lack of self heal an also using melee... Should i just roll a Fortunata?? Really wana Bane that can PvP though

I think you can pvp with one tbh, they get -jump i think and that stealth strike or executioners strike (forgot which it is lol) does alot of dmg from hide and you can placate too. I think if you were planning to use it in the zones then grab the temp phase from black market just to be safe .

I've only seen 1 bane in RV that actually pvp's and he did alot of dmg to my blaster with that -res -def debuff on me that they get.

The fortunata is obviously alot better for pvp but i still think the bane is pvp'able so i would stick with it .

I think its all to do with the spec and the choices you make, same as any toon really. Sure some archetypes are better at PvP than others but the huge diversification you get with Bane's means you can PvP spec one specifically.

I have pounced on a few with my Ice/Dev Blaster both in Sirens and Rv, some are quite squishy but on the other hand i have been hit with that Executioners Strike thingy and was like [censored] Aouch! *run*

So PvP Bane can be super, just take your time spec'ing it correctly and enjoy a rare pvp choice.

But if they did..........

Here's my planned build for my bain, who's currently sitting at level 40, I'm going for the mostly close combat approach and sticking to mace attack only powers, so no wolf spider ones sadly, despite me wanting the ever so lovely toxic grenade

Well from my pvp toon experience I now pick sets/builds partly on what I think looks fun to play.
With the murmurs of PvP being looked at more by the devs I think nowadays it could be upsetting if you pick sets purely as they are currently the highest performers.

Also big bonus for me with spiders is they look way cooler than forts/widows imo :P
