Pet Window: RV Heavies and lack of understanding

So, I take a jaunt into Recluses' Victory with my newly levelled scrapper, and as it's empty at that time of day I grab myself a Longbow Heavy and go to find a few Spiders. Normally, I find a mob, target the T.Quenn, and tell the heavy to 'Attack my Target', but everytime I did that... I ended up selecting the Heavy and it sat there doing nothing!

Is anyone else having this problem, where right clicking the pet in the window selcts the pet and opens the command menu? Or have I somehow set up something to do this? O.o

are you out of range of it or stealthed as both will stop it accepting new orders

Personally never had an issue with this myself. However, I would select the Queen then "left click" attack my target. Normally do this though with the heavy very near or next to me.

If the heavy's too far away from the target, it won't respond to an attack order.

Nope, I'm usually just outside of the Queen's perception range, and I used to just highlight the aforementioned spider then right-click the pet menu, tell it to attack the target and it did.. now it just selects the Heavy instead! O.o

If your heavy is right behind you, and you try clicking on the target in front of you, you often will select the heavy by mistake, because it's actually right in front of the camera view, but you're able to look right through it.

[/ QUOTE ]I usually get it when I get too far away from it (since it has the speed of a slug). I turn around and find it's stopped to have a dip in the lake. The only other time is when I forget to take my shields off.

The only strange thing I get is when it goes to attack a turret and gets stuck on an object like one of the core pylons on the pillbox or a bit of wall and does a lovely little dance on the spot which for some reason corrects when I call it to me which sends it off to attack the original target.
