Just like the Blaster and Defender version of the same power as in it is not effected by self-buffs, insps, buffs in general, its the ol'free-floating pet. Back-in-day VS could have many versions of itself going about and if I recall it used to do Tier 2 blast damage, now it is just Tier 1.
I think originally Corruptor one was the same, but then they added Scourge. Scourge is a self-buff..I don't think Tornado or Lightning Storm are Scourge-ables....funny.
Not got anything against Scourging VS, I love Scourge, I just wanted to squee at Scourge from my two favourite Storm powers. But then I guess Dark Servant would have to be the same too. Slippery slope.

#415877 - An Uncivil War: Preclude - Looking for Feedback
Got my epic villain, a Mind/Elec Dominator to 38. I had high hopes for the Dominator version of Voltaic Sentinel, because of Domination, it being Corruptor version and of course, it being red. Red lightning. Epic red lightning.
But no - what I got was a fuzzball that doesn't benefit from Domination as it's somehow classified as a real pet and not a "pet" like Lightning Storm, so you guys can forget any epic Sparky damage even with Domination popped beforehand.
Second, it doesn't shoot faster with Hasten popped beforehand, just like it doesn't benefit from damage buffs.
Third, well.EPIC RED LIGHTNING!
Edit: also you can only have one of them out at a time.
