Take your Toggles!

The same can be said of anyone who doesn't take Maneuvers though, even if it is a smaller buff
[/ QUOTE ]It can indeed. Everyone would be awesome if every single build took pool maneuvers!
Not taking TT:Maneuvers on a Crab is a really bad decision, prepare to faceplant a lot when on teams fighting larger spawns. Atm nearing 40 on my Crab, the only AT/build to rival its AoE capabilities are Fire/ Corrs (SS/Fire brutes too perhaps, haven´t teamed with one the last week). I´m thinking about getting the Scorpion Web Grenade instead of the Wolf one for the added radius, to keep more mobs in place lol.

If 16% def made *that* much difference my FF, SR and EA characters would be much, much tougher than they are. Anyway, nothing will convince me to take it if I don't think it fits my theme.

Show us your build and we will find room for at least TT: Maneuvers
Take it, it's crazy good.

i have manuevers but i will not take the other ones.
Well. I've been teaming alot (I'm all about teaming :P) and the toggles are stupidly awesome.
Most teams have at least 4 VEATS in atm (likely to drop later on though).
I PuG alot. In the last week I've had one team of 7 VEATs and a Corrup and one team of 7 VEATs and a Brute.
In all cases we uber pwned. We were fighting +4's (for all bar the mission holder who was 3 levels higher than rest of us) and we completly mullered them. We needed it to be HARDER.
75% Def, 45%+ Damage bonus, Acc bonus, stacked Venon grenades on a Hero/AV....
It's fun, but not overly challenging.
Some people will not have maneuvers due to their normal team set up, defense maybe already taken care of and any more is overkill. This is fair. Most people have builds to suit what they like to do most and somethings that may be asked of in a pug mayn't be needed in their main team. However maneuvers is one of those that allows more freedom within teams that can mess up or want to take chances and if you die a lot, especially solo, without it you can't really complain to others cos they'd just point out the obvious mistake.

The other point is "I don't need it so I ain't taking it". SoA teams will likely be as common as any other AT team by the time I get one...
