Poison Attacks (Blood Widow, Night Widow and Bane)

Will Bane spiders have Poison DOT on their mace strikes like the Blood Widows and Night Widows have, since the NPC version has it surely the PC ones have to? I was sure I saw in the vid a Longbow with the poison aura that banes do to PC's (E.g. kind of white fire with black bubbles rising)

what do you guys think?

Well being Arachnos is about Spiders (venom etc) and the mace beams you get for Black Scorpion contain Toxic Damage (it is a Poison loaded into a beam of energy so it attacks the system quickly), I think it would be shameful to not have it on the melee attacks.

What I do see is them changing the pure toxic nature of the attacks to a mix of lethal hit with Toxic DoT, given the general lack of res to Toxic..I guess that'll help with Snakes, they have res to Toxic right...though I think Lethal too, ouch.

Yeah I kinda thought that they would do it that way (as in partial toxic/lethal), although I seriously doubt that their mace blasts will be the photonic venom one, well maybe they will have one power with that but the rest will just probably be energy blasts.

Toxic Blast? NPC Banes have it, and its already in the PPPs, so I don't see any reason for leaving it off the player power list.

Crab Spiders also have toxic damage on one of thier melee attacks.

I really should do something about this signature.

what I meant by that Praf was that not all their mace blasts will be the photonic toxin, only one or two will just like the NPC Bane Spider Executioner who has Poisonous Ray Burst.

No, they will probably get the one toxic blast and two energy blasts, and maybe the snipe. The Banes other attacks will probably be made up of melee, which are like War Mace, with toxic DoT secondary effect.
