Slotting Nova Form

Hi folks.

So, two weeks in and I’m loving my Warshade and yes, slotting him has become troublesome, even at level 14. My main area of trouble though is on what to put in Nova Form. I’ve read a number of guides and I’m trying to work out what the most efficient way of slotting him is.

First of all, accuracy. I have three ToHit Buffs slotted but from what I can tell, they won’t allow me to remove accuracies from the individual blasts. So do others find that accuracies in the attacks rather than the ToHit Buffs in the form work better than the other way round? I’ve seen the maths elsewhere and a capped 95% seems preferable to 88% accuracy but has anyone tried this and found it to work?

Secondly, endurance. At the moment, I can only go for a few minutes of blasting in Nova before having to rest. Now I figure Stygian Circle’s going to sort that out in a few levels time but is there any worth in slotting End Mods in the form? One guide I read figured that equated to only +12 endurance per minute which seems rather low. Others almost flat out demand that three End Mods should be slotted as a priority. What have others found? Should I instead slot my attacks with End Reducers or put End Mods in the form?

I’d very much welcome other people’s perspectives. Thanks.

Alright marra, hows tricks?

You can take a look at my Warshade build here

As you can see I popped 3 End Enhancements in my Nova with two To Hit Buffs. The End recharge is not as good as 3 slotted Stamina but I found it to be enough to keep me going that little bit longer, hopefully enough to take down targets before having to rest.

Of course like you say when Stygian Circle comes into play, its not an issue anymore, even more so if you have downed a large mob.

As far as the To Hit Buff over Accuracy in the individual powers go, you can see I went 2 To Hit Buff and no Accuracy. I'm not really one for number crunching. My take on stuff is it ether works most of the time or it doesn't. For me I hit my targets most of the time, which was good enough for me. Although I did pop 1 Accuracy in my Fluffy pets (Dark Extraction) so that if my Nova did miss, then I would have a decent chance of my Fluffy Pet hitting the target to make up for it.

Take my build for just another guide and have a tinker on maybe with Mid's Planner to see what you get.

Of course since meeting Erik (AKA Liz Bathory) at Omega Sektor, he has got me rather interested in number crunching when it comes to IO's. My Warshade now at Lv 43 is a absolute monster as I have just mentioned in another thread today.

I can't even imagine what its going to be like when its stacked up with Lv 50+ IO's!
